If you have ever seen the vampire diaries then you know Damon Salvatore, and you know you've developed a love/hate relationship and no matter what he did you couldn't resist his charisma. there is no doubt that he captures the hearts of thousands but it isn't because he's our "ideal bad boy". I think its who he is underneath that crazy and impulsive vampire. His character is what we would consider our dream guy but he is also one that we girls deserve and here is why.

He's a one-woman type of guy, hell, he spent an eternity brooding over his lost love Kathrine and willing to kill anyone to free her. There you have it ladies, 150 years of loyalty? Sold! That is something anyone deserves

Damon also never gives up, especially when it comes to those he loves. For example, when Stefan went off the rails and flipped his humanity switch, Damon did everything in his power to bring his brother back. This is a quality that every significant other should possess. Why? Because you should find someone who'd fight for your relationship.

When he loves, he loves hard even if he may not show it because of being hurt before but when it comes to love Damon is your guy

"You want a love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure, and even a little danger... I want you to get everything you're looking for." -Damon

If you find a guy like Damon they'd give you exactly that. They'd live life to the fullest and love you like there is no tomorrow. For example, when Damon starts to have feelings for Elena she doesn't feel the same but this doesn't stop him from going above and beyond to make sure she is safe and happy.

Another reason why you can't help but adore Damon is his amazing sense of humor he was always funny and delivers some of the best one-liners. No matter how tense the situation a guy like him can lighten the mood with the wits he has up his sleeve and its no doubt that Damon's twisted sense of humor makes him a beloved character.

In conclusion, these irresistible traits are what every girl should find in her partner. And if you have someone with these traits they are definitely a keeper.
