Why ECU Is The Most Fun School in North Carolina

There has been debate over the years of which college in North Carolina is the most fun. ECU is definitely the best school in North Carolina and here are a few reasons why.

Why ECU Is The Most Fun School in North Carolina
Pool Parties

ECU is known for their epic pool parties. Pool party season is definitely a favorite of most ECU students. This epic season takes place from August to October and from March to May. So if you have friends planning on visiting ECU, make sure you tell them to come within those months!

Football Games

Pirate football is the best in North Carolina. Not to mention we beat UNC 70 to 41 this year. We were also ranked in the The AP Top Poll this year! There is no doubt we have the most football pride and the best fan section out of all of North Carolina. 

Tailgating

Win or lose, we still booze. Tailgating is a practically a sport at ECU. Tailgating starts hours prior to kick off and still goes on well throughout the game if you don't have a ticket (or can't make it). Also, with so many fans who come to Greenville on week day game days, classes are usually cancelled, so students can start tailgating earlier! The university is always on our side. 

Downtown Greenville

Downtown Greenville's nightlife is always a good time. There are bars open 7 days a week. I repeat, 7 days a week. Why just drink on the weekend? Downtown also has specials during the week days. Mondays: Mug Night at Supdogs; Tuesdays: $1 drinks at Halfway House; Wednesday: Karaoke at Fitzgeralds; Thursday: Ladies Night at all the bars!

Frat Parties
ECU isn't only a bar school it has many other things to do, like fraternity parties. ECU has over 20 fraternities on campus. If the bar scene is not your favorite there are always so many frat parties going on to go to. 

Halloween
ECU has the best Halloween of any college in the United States. Downtown Greenville is completely blocked off and turns into a huge block party! Also River Walk has a huge block party every year and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. You definitely need to cross ECU halloweek off your list one year if you have not already. 

The reasons of why ECU is the most fun in North Carolina could go on and on, but above are just a few reasons why it is the absolutely best! You can't spell parties without pirates!
