Winter is over. The snow is gone. Flowers and pollen are here. While a lot of people appreciate this, some of us are definitely going to whine about it and act like it's technically still winter, for the following reasons:
1. The weather is extremely bipolar.
Forget being comfortable in one same outfit the whole day. It might be 40 degrees in the morning and 70 in the afternoon and then 40 again at night. Who knows? It's annoying because in the morning I'm perfectly fine walking around in my flannel and leggings, but then I walk out of my lecture around noon and I wanna put my head through a wall because I start to sweat and I just have to deal with it.
2. Allergies.
Honestly, these are a thing whenever it's not warm out and its the most annoying out of all of them. It's funny because they come around in the fall, and then when winter is over they come back around again. It's a never ending cycle of sneezing and coughing.
3. Spring cleaning.
Moving out is stressful. I can no longer study in my room because I'm not done moving yet and my room currently looks like the eye of a tornado and just looking at it stresses me out. So, I hit the library, but the worst part is when I come back and I don't remember how much of a mess my room is. And then I get stressed out over the fact that I'm not done moving yet. I can never win.
4. Shaving your legs.
Not that I'm lazy (I can be), but recently for the past few months this hasn't been my priority. And now it's supposed to be. I was enjoying not getting razor cuts despite the cold weather thank you very much.
I know this article had a lot of complaining, but I know this is secretly what you think about spring too, or at least you've had one of these things cross your mind before. Besides all of this, the good thing is that summer is coming, and that's enough to make me get through this "warm" season.
