I'm beyond annoyed of hearing everyone say, "Donald Trump isn't gonna win, why is he even running?" Blah blah blah. This kind of foolishness irks me to my bones and makes me want to grab that person by the shoulders, look them dead in the eyes, and yell, "THINK A LITTLE." This man is not stupid by any meaning of the word. I can almost guarantee he has more college credits than you do. The guy went to a K-12 college prep school; when he turned 13, his parents sent him to the New York Military Academy, and he continued on to go to graduate from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League business school. So, obviously, this man is not dumb in any way. Some say he is arrogant and ignorant, and sometimes he is, but there are reasons why.
Donald Trump speaks so bluntly because he believes that's the kind of leader we need more than ever. Us Americans are tired of being lied to by the people who run our country. What does it take to have one person in office that won't just say yes because they're getting paid to? It's something I don't think people have picked up on yet. It is a politician's job to lie. Politicians have to lie everyday and go against their own personal beliefs to gain your favorable attention. Over 10 years ago, Hillary Clinton said she would never approve of same-sex marriage, then the day it is legalized, she is alllllll about it. Obviously, our system is corrupt and needs a complete makeover. This is another way Trump stands out. He isn't afraid to say what he wants to say; even if he suspects that someone is trying to undermine him, he will call them out with no hesitation. That is an almost business-minded practice, I believe, to simply keep control, and let others know who is in control. Other candidates are literally afraid to go toe-to-toe with Trump, saying he's just being a child and whatnot, when, really, they are afraid he could ruin their entire run for Presidency.
Typically, everyone in America sees Trump as an a**hole that has way too much money. Usually, Trump does everything in his daily life to benefit himself and his companies. Now that the 2016 Presidential election is coming next year, Donald J. Trump sees this as the prime opportunity to start bringing to light America's real problems. Problems that could potentially be destructive to the United States in the future. This man has money, power, and he has influence. But it isn't just these reasons why I believe he'll be our next president. He has a strategy that he's already began years ago when he could've been dubbed "America's A**hole." He can act this way because he carries so much power, and no matter how much bad criticism he gets, he doesn't care. It just further helps spread his name around America and what he is about. He will continue to focus on important domestic problems, and in the end, people will vote for him because he best represents what America is.
Everyday you are thinking, hearing, and reading about this man over something controversial he said and how he doesn't care if you don't like him. His initial goal is not even to be POTUS; he is simply trying to change the way we think about things here in America. Think about it for a second: if you're hearing this guy's name every day of your life, then he's already doing a better job than every other presidential candidate there is. Sure, Hillary could be a powerhouse with all her money and influence in congress, but why would we ever want a President that publicly lies to the American public over and over again and keeps secrets from us? What Trump is doing is telling the cold hard truth against issues people are too sensitive to talk about. Yes, sometimes it may seem like he's just saying things to be on TV. That's true and not true at the same time. The more exposure he gets, the more likely he is to win. It's as simple as that.
