When it comes to fashion, Dolce y Gabana is my go to for all seasons!

Dolce y Gabbana (D&G) is known as one of the best Italian fashion companies in the world. The company was founded by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana who design all of the products, and yes, the company name comes from their surnames! The fashion company is known worldwide for its luxurious clothing, perfumes, sunglasses, bags, and best of all, their ads. But here's why they are so unique:

1. Fashion Show

Their fashion show happens almost every season at a different country and city with a different theme and design. Domenico, Stefano, and the crew take Dolce y Gabbana fashion worldwide from Italy, Beijing, U.S.A, Hong Kong, Naples to Dubai. In fact, the Dolce y Gabbana store is found in 80 countries!

2. Models

As for models, at each fashion show Dolce y Gabbana uses well known celebrities in that country or city ,which means you can expect to see your favorite Viner to be there modeling. For the past years, DG have used big and small celebrities from Matthew McConaughey to Lele Pons. But let's say that all of their models are good looking people.

3. Handmade Products

DG goes extra on handmade stuff. They are best known for putting little details, drawing on purses and making a custom designs for all occasions. So if you're in need of Mother's Day gift, DG is there to custom design a beautiful quote and drawing on a purse of your own choice just for you, and let's be honest, who doesn't like purses?

4. Design

If you have not noticed by now, most of DG products have colorful flowers designed on it, even on their sunglasses. The Dolce Flora (flower in Italian) adds a gentle, feminine touch to the sensuality of some designs.

5. Ads

But let's not forget that the major hit of the company is in their ads. Have you seen the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Fragrance TV ad? Their summer and spring ads? Dolce y Gabbana captures the Italian culture and society in their ads.

So thank you Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for all your hard work and for recreating elegance.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.

The dynamics of any friend group are usually determined by the personalities which make it up. Chances are, while personalities may overlap, each person in your friend group holds his or her own place. It is the differences which bring the groups together and keep them functioning.
