We do not deserve dogs.

Any dog owner would most definitely agree that dogs are at least a million times better than people for various reasons.

Disclaimer: I may have written this article just to include pictures of my own dog.

1. They are always happy to see you.

Dogs undoubtedly will make you feel like you are the most important person in the room. When you come home, they are always there wagging their tails and bouncing around because they are just balls of joy and happiness. People couldn't care less when you see them.

2. They never complain.

And even if they did, you love them so much that you would give them the world (or Starbucks) if they asked for it. Occasionally, they may swat the cabinet where their treats are held but that's not really complaining. Humans, on the contrary, always have something to lament about and sometimes you really don't have the time, energy, or patience to hear about it.

3. They are ALWAYS down to cuddle.

As a human, it is quite stressful to find a person to be your 'cuddle buddy' when watching a movie, especially if you are lacking a significant other. Meanwhile, your dog is always there for you when you need a good snuggle.

4. They motivate you to exercise.

Dogs are just such smart creatures and always know when they want to get outside for their daily walk or play. They are so persistent as they run around like little psychopaths and bark uncontrollably until your lazy self decides to get up and be active. Other people will never give you this kind of physical motivation (unless you are blessed with a friend that is a health nut).

5. They are awesome listeners.

Dogs can't really speak, but they are always there for you to listen to your problems. They sit there and look at you. You just know that they are listening to you, which is nice because sometimes you don't want an interruption from another person as you discuss your life problems.

6. They serve as personal foot warmers.

Cold feet are the worst. It would be strange to ask another person, "Hey, do you mind laying on my feet? They are cold." This is why dogs are great.

7. They clean up after you.

By clean up after you, I mean that when you are a slob and drop food when eating, they are there to clean it up, a.k.a. eat it. It is a mutual relationship where both parties benefit. Your human friends would not eat your fallen food for you.

8. They are cute at all ages.

Puppies, adult, and senior dogs are all so darn cute. Humans? Only babies, small children, and old people can be considered cute. Don't argue with me.

9. They want to protect you.

Even if there is the slightest noise, your dog has stopped what he or she was doing to investigate what the sound was, to make sure that their family is safe. Meanwhile, if you fell down the stairs or something, your human friends would be the first ones to laugh at you. Your dog would be there to help.

10. They are there for you, no matter what.

Dogs are known to be loyal, which is a statement that is most definitely true. Dogs can sense when you are sick or upset, and they just sit by your side during whatever you are going through. Your human friends and family usually will offer their time to talk and help you in any way, but sometimes you don't want to talk about whatever is bothering you, and your dog understands that.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
