Kate Spade is basically a must-have for most college girls. It's pretty obvious that she is a trend setter with her blatant pops of color, and contrast of young yet classy fashion vibes.
Still, there are a handful of brands that girls will flock out to purchase just so they can keep up with the trends. So that left me wondering, why do we adore Kate Spade products?
I decided figure out the obsession for myself. I talked to sisters, ASU students, basically cyber stalked her whole online biography, and grabbed a few of her purses (you know, for research and stuff. )

Plus, she gives students discounts to everyone, (how's that for being inclusive!). You can a 15 percent off in-store purchase just by showing your student ID.
There is way more to her brand than discounts, and her ASU and Greek life legacy. When you look beyond the physical brand of clothing, and accessories it becomes effortlessly apparent as to why we are team Kate.
She is all about good vibes. Her quotes seem interchangeable with things that you would overhear while hanging out with sisters.
It seems as if most girls are always carrying around a Kate Spade clutch, hand bag, wallet, purse, phone case, whatever it is, it's KS. You may adore her for her timeless, and bright fashions but there is much more to the Kate Spade brand than just adorable clothing and accessories. Her brand encourages a life of adventure. She keeps it classic, but also reminds girls to never take themselves too seriously.
She restlessly defends the importance of glitter (don't pretend like you don't totally feel the same way about sparkles as the rest of us), and sheer self-confidence.
For Kate, it is about being a fearless, and honest woman who isn't afraid to hop on a plane or dance in the rain,looking and feeling fabulous while taking on the world. We all could use a bit of her inspo. every now and then.
From one sorority woman to another, Kate Spade is the perfect example of the balance that we all strive to have. It's not just her bags that are trendy, it's her attitude. She's the kind of girl you'd take to formal, the kind of girl you'd want as your little.
So go ahead, get that trendy hand bag. Throw her quotes on a canvas, and put that in a basket for your little, because class, confidence and an adventurous attitude is something we all need in our chapters.
