Drinks around the world—need I say more?

Why Disney Is Really For Grown Ups
WDW Magic

This past month, I was fortunate to experience the magic of Disney once again. I could have celebrated my 21st birthday in Las Vegas, but naturally I chose Walt Disney World instead. It never truly occurred to me that age is not a factor when it comes to Walt Disney World. Here's just a few of the many reasons why you should plan a trip here ASAP.

Epcot's Drinks Around the Word

Margaritas in Mexico, wine in France, beer in Germany, the list goes on. I'll have to admit, 11 different countries each with specialty drinks was a tad dangerous for my 21st birthday, but it was a must. I happened to be there during the Food and Wine Festival which was glorious, too. If you want to go during the fall months, I highly recommend going when this 60 day-long festival is going on.

It Releases the Inner Child

I found myself smiling at nothing just looking around the place. Odd? Probably so. But it really is like nothing else. I oooed and ahhed at the fireworks. Simply put, the magic doesn't fade, even when you're older. Also, I might as well admit that I ran to Expedition Everest and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster - walking is for adults.

Appreciation for the Details

Everything at Disney is so well thought out. They have artistically perfected the notion of "The Happiest Place on Earth." The attention to cleanliness and detail is astonishing. There were Mickey pumpkins along the streets just in case you were't already obsessed with Disney - or fall for the matter. I would have never taken the time to take that in and appreciate the beauty if I was younger. I also stayed on property at Port Orleans and the towels were shaped like Mickey when we arrived. Cue the tears.

Help plan a family trip. Gather up some friends and go for the weekend. You won't regret it, and I promise it'll be worth every penny. Cheers to great memories and never growing up. And most importantly, a place that can remind us of that.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
