Okay, so I know that this time of year is basically everyone's favorite and people get outrageously excited about it for months in advance. I feel like I love Christmas a normal amount. I get it, its a great time to spend with family and very exciting to get and give presents, but there are some things that are just not thrilling about the most "wonderful" time of the year.
The Traffic
Okay, I know this is kind of stupid and nobody likes traffic, but anywhere close to a mall is ridiculously packed and people drive like crazy.
The absolute NEED to buy outrageously expensive and huge presents.
Black Friday is crazy. This is supposed to be about celebrating time with your family and bringing goodwill to men so why do we fight over a gift for our kids? People go to crazy lengths to find the "perfect" present when we all should know it is the thought that counts.
The Christmas music
Like I said, I love Christmas a normal amount, but who wants to listen to the same 10 songs for over a month because we all know stores start playing it the same day as Thanksgiving.
So I don't want to be a Grinch or a Scrooge but I guess I just want to remind everyone to really remember what Christmas is supposed to be about. It is amazing to see someone's face light up when they open your present, but it really is about loving one another and spending time together.
