The top of the food chain in the dog-eat-dog world of fast food is falling behind in a category that other's have already begun to master: spicy chicken nuggets. Why has Chick-fil-A yet to include spicy chicken nuggets in their menu is beyond me, but here are 9 reasons as to why they should.

1. Nuggets are snack-sized and easier to take with you on the go.

Chick-fil-A's spicy chicken sandwich has already been a huge success. But do you know how hard it is to carry an entire sandwich around when you're on the go? Spicy chicken nuggets would make it possible for that delicious spicy taste to be easily accessible in situations where it's difficult to walk around with an entire sandwich to bite into. It's much more reasonable to have a bite-sized spicy snack when you're hungry for something with a kick, but don't have the luxury to sit and relax and enjoy every last bite of the spicy chicken sandwich.

2. Spicy nuggets would contain fewer carbs than the spicy chicken sandwich.

Now it's pretty obvious that without bread, there would be fewer carbs. But the difference is actually astonishing. According to Chick-fil-A, their original chicken sandwich has 40g of carbs, while their regular chicken nuggets have a carb count as low as 9g. The spicy chicken sandwich has 41g. This means that spicy chicken nuggets would be around 10g of carbs, which is a drastic change from the carb count of the sandwich. These nuggets would be perfect for those who are maintaining low carb diets but still have a taste for the heat.

3. Imagine dipping those bad boys in the variety of sauces that Chick-fil-A has to offer.

I can feel my mouth watering already thinking about this one. Picture this. You're biting into a tender, juicy, spicy chicken nugget after dipping it into ranch or, even better, the famous Chick-fil-A sauce. It's literally a perfect combination of spicy, yet original Chick-fil-A qualities blended together to create a delicious and exciting journey for your taste buds.

4. Other fast-food chains have already hopped on to their take of spicy nugs.

Wendy's, for example, has had spicy chicken nuggets included on their menu for quite some time. Since people have this option at Wendy's, but not at Chick-fil-A, Wendy's already has that advantage. And let's be real here, who actually likes Wendy's more than Chick-fil-A....?

5. The taste for spicy foods, in general, are on the rise.

Am I the only one who's noticed that as we get older, more and more people seem to like spicy food? I mean seriously though. There are only two options to get something spicy at Chick-fil-A currently: the spicy chicken sandwich or the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich. As good as both of those items sound, it's not enough! The loyal customers of Chick-fil-A deserve more options to satisfy their changes in taste.

6. Think about how much more money Chick-fil-A would make.

Adding spicy chicken nuggets to the menu would be a very strategic business move for Chick-fil-A. With a menu expansion, they would gain more customers simply because there would be more options to choose from. This would allow them to acquire even more money than they already do. I'm telling ya after this Chick-fil-A will run the world.

7. Even more families would eat at Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A is already a chain well-known for its family-friendly environment, as many locations contain play places and have activity days for children. However, even more, families would eat at Chick-fil-A if their children had more to choose from. Some kids really enjoy spicy things, and nuggets are a great size for child consumption. Let's say you're taking your family to Chick-fil-A for lunch and you're ordering little Billy his nuggets, but he wants spicy chicken. The only option for little Billy would be the spicy chicken sandwich. What fun is a sandwich when you're a kid?

8. Spicy chicken nuggets would inspire the addition of even more products.

The original chicken sandwich was the start of everything. Luckily, the deluxe chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and chicken strips followed. Right now our only spicy option is the spicy chicken sandwich or the deluxe spicy chicken sandwich. Spicy nuggets would be a great start at expanding the fiery horizons, and then hopefully spicy chicken strips would be added as well. Wow... that right there sounds like a seller. Besides, more products take us back to our last two points: more families and more money!

9. Because honestly... why shouldn't Chick-fil-A add spicy nugs?!

Let's be real here people. Spicy chicken nuggets would be a huge success. There really is no reason as to why this shouldn't already be on Chick-fil-A's menu. Chick-fil-A, if you're reading this, it's time to take the next step. Make your loyal customers happy and add spicy chicken nuggets! We all know you didn't invent the chicken, just the chicken sandwich, but it's time to invent some spicy nugs!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
