As a person who grew up with both at least one dog and cat. I can say that I leaned more toward liking my cat much more. Though I still will have have to love my own dog to a certain capacity. For other people it will go based on preference if they like one species more. It is more personal preference for myself that I adore cats much more.

Most people lean towards dogs because you can do more activities with them. In the long heated debate over Cats vs. Dogs, I am here to tell you that cats are just as much fun, if not even better. So, here are four reasons why felines are the better choice.

1. Cats aren't as loud as how dogs can be.

Dogs can be way more vocal than cats can. From them barking at any passerby to barking at nothing, the things they bark at are endless. While with cats, they mostly are audible when they want food or attention. Which I'm okay with. Other people will never complain at a cats meowing in the middle of the night keeping them up than a dogs barking.

2. Cat's purring.

No sound in the world is better than a cats purr. The sound shows humans that their feline companion is happy and content. Stroke, caress, or pet its chin/face or its back/stomach and feel the gentle buzz. Its an instant stress reliever hearing and feeling it. With dogs they obviously don't make that soothing sound, when they're happy they'll mostly lick you.

3. Cats are a natural insect repellent.

Cats are fascinated with any insect they see. With their fast pouncing capabilities, any unsuspecting critter would have no chance of survival. Whether it be a fly, cricket, or water bug, a cat can catch any bug that it sees. They are great at keeping their home bug free. Some dogs or puppies can do this too, but it is more entertaining to watch if you see a cat do it. In my opinion.

4. They're less messy.

Dogs can get into all sorts of messes on a daily basis. Not too mention their doggy breath and wet dog smell that they can get. Cats are never really messy unless they accidentally get into something, but they rarely have any odor. They clean themselves on a daily basis, so they keep up with their hygiene.

You're hooked now, right? I could talk about how much I love cats, but then you`d be here all day. So, hopefully I conveyed it enough that cats are just better in more ways than one. I still like dogs, but cats are just as good too if not better in my experience.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
