1. Um, hello. Halloween is the first day of fall break this year. I know we've all been complaining about how long we've had to wait for a break, but it's finally almost here, and it's going to be epic.
2. It's been crazy-perfect weather recently. We can only hope and pray that it will last the next two weeks, and I have a feeling it will. No freezing arctic Halloween in Charleston this year!
3. I don't know about you, but I'm all about comfort for Halloween. Anyone can dress provocatively any day of the week, but there are very few times I can justify going on in leggings and a t-shirt and calling it fashion. Halloween is one of those times.
4. Mad River, located downtown on Market St, is doing an awesome fun three day party event for Halloween, Oct. 30–Nov. 1. They're doing contests, drink specials, awesome music and more!
5. Of course, we always have Boone Hall Fright Nights as well. The haunted hayride, houses and tours are always a must-do for this season, and they just get better and better every year. Check out the link to learn more and buy tickets! http://boonehallfrightnights.com/
6. Charleston by itself is the best Halloween location, of course. With the historic houses, the old jail and ongoing ghost tours all over the city, it's pretty hard to beat. Date night idea?
7. And of course, when all else fails, the new "American Horror Story" season has just started, and you never have to justify staying in and catching up whilst binging on Halloween candy and kicking off the beginning of your four day fall break.
