If you’re looking to party, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is hands down the best spring break destination for college students. It's sunny, cheap and the drinking age is only 18. Forget about Panama City or Fort Lauderdale with the strict rules and hundreds of cops roaming the beaches. In March 2015 alone, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office reported 928 total arrests on 1,237 total charges in Panama City.
When you arrive at the airport in Mexico, it's each traveler’s duty to take a tequila shot at the full-bar waiting outside. The long-lasting, 45-minute drive into the city feels like an eternity as you start anticipating a night of heavy drinking. After the pre-game, your crew might head downtown to The Nowhere Bar or Monkey Business, but everyone will inevitably end up at El Squid Roe.
El Squid Roe, known as Squid Roe for short, is by far the best night club in Cabo San Lucas. The place is practically indestructible since just about everything is metal. It has four levels of entertainment with a live DJ and staff that promotes dancing on top of tables. I would highly suggest grabbing some cheap tacos and a water bottle for the walk home.
In the morning, everyone will slowly wake up starving and head down to grab breakfast. I’d recommend Sharky’s because it's quick, easy and right around the corner from Mango Deck. Mango Deck is the most popular beach bar on Medano Beach with incredible views of Lover’s Beach and the famous Arch of Los Cabos. There is always an M.C. to entertain the crowd with a variety of shows and contests.
Don’t forget to flag down the man with holsters of tequila!
