From what I know, most kids stop believing in Santa between the ages of 8 and 10. I, on the other hand, believed in Santa until I was around the age of 12. Unlike a lot of kids, my faith in Santa was kept for quite a long time and that is due mostly to my parents.
Why I believed in Santa for so long:
1. My parents hid the presents extremely well
I wasn't really suspicious as a kid about Santa, I just believed in him. Regardless, I never accidentally stumbled upon presents and on Christmas day, our living room was always filled with tons and tons of presents.
2. My parents never used the same wrapping paper
They somehow managed to even hide the wrapping paper so that when I saw all the presents on Christmas day they were all wrapped in wrapping I had never seen before.
3. Every year I got things I wanted but didn't let my parents know I wanted
Somehow my parents knew what I wanted without me telling them. Looking back now, it's like they were mind readers
4. Modern technology helped to keep my faith alive
When I was a kid who believed in Santa, they had a website where you could write a Christmas letter to Santa and he wrote you back
My parents have always done such a great job hiding the fact that they were really Santa and making Christmas happen no matter what kind of position they were in and for that I am so grateful! Merry Christmas Everyone!!
