I have been babysitting since middle school, and after all these years, I still think that it is the best job ever. From getting endless hugs to going on adventures with your kids, babysitting might be the most fun and rewarding job out there. Here are 10 reasons why babysitting is the best job in the world.

1. You gain a family.

When you babysit for a family, it is almost like they become a part of your family. You spend every day watching over someone's kids and the bond you create is amazing. You then get to see your kids grow up and it's a great feeling.

2. You learn countless life lessons.

Sometimes when you are a babysitter, things don't always go as planned. You always have to have back up plan. This is a crucial thing to learn when you are working with kids.

4. You get to play all day.

Babysitting is mostly fun. You get to bring out your inner kid and play with kids all day. What other job lets you play? You also get to go to fun places like the zoo and waterparks.

5. You get to hang with cute kids.

Kids are the cutest and say the funniest things. Spending your days with kids is one of the most fun things to do.

6. Kids make you feel good about life.

Kids are mostly nice. They usually tell you how awesome you are and that you are their favorite. Every once in awhile, they will tell you that you should wear make up, but for the most part, they make you feel like you are important.

7. There is minimal stress.

Your biggest stressor is getting your kids where they need to be on time and making sure everyone's diapers are changed. Even when you are stressed, all it takes is a smile from one of your kiddos and everything else fades away.

8. Nap time is great.

When you are a babysitter, your full time jobs includes chasing around kids all day, so you get a built in work out, How awesome is that? The kids always keep you on your feet.

10. You get paid to do all these things.

Babysitting is such a great job you get paid for having fun and hanging with cute kids. I wouldn't trade my job for any other job in the world. I love my kids and my job, and enjoy every minute of it. Babysitting is for sure the best job in the world.

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
