Arrogant, racist, and disrespectful are just a few adjectives I would use to describe Donald Trump. His carefree, no filter, “say what you feel” demeanor is not only unprofessional, but embarrassing. His inappropriate caricature-esque facial expressions, and unnecessary grunts are obnoxious and annoying. He is the epitome of under qualified, and in my opinion one of the worst candidates America has ever seen. Donald Trump has expressed his negative opinions towards different races, religions, and women. Calling Mexicans rapists, black people criminals, and women disgusting, are just a few of the things our GOP nominee has said. Recently after watching Hillary Clinton’s “Mirrors” commercial, I was not only angry and nauseous, but genuinely concerned for every woman who intends on checking his name on the ballot.

Here are just a few of Donald Trump’s statements regarding women.

You know it really doesn't matter what [the media] writes, as long as youve got a young and beautiful piece of ass

Horrifying to say the least. Donald Trump has no problems degrading and objectifying women. “As long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass”, he says. By this quote Donald is insinuating that it doesn't really matter what anyone says about you. After all, your object, I mean your trophy, I mean your woman, is all you need to feel better.

You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever

America was shocked after hearing this Trump quote directed to Fox News persona, Megyn Kelly. When has it ever been appropriate for a candidate to publicly embarrass a news figure, by implying she is on her period?

If Hillary can't satisfy her husband, what makes her think she can satisfy America?

Hillary Clinton’s ability to “satisfy” her husband, for one, has nothing to do with the election, but honestly isn't any of America’s business. As far as her satisfying America, let’s not forget Clinton’s list of achievements. Hillary was not only a former first lady of both Arkansas and the United States of America, but a New York Senator and our 67th Secretary of State. Can she “satisfy” America? She most certainly has the unparalleled qualificaations to do so. #HillYeah!!!

But the look obviously matters. Like you wouldn't have your job if you weren't beautiful.

In a society where the definition of “being beautiful” is so skewed, this could possibly be the worst thing a young girl could hear. Eating disorders, suicide, and lack of self-esteem are all the results of girls not feeling “beautiful” enough. On top of hearing society’s harsh definition of “beautiful” through magazines, TV programs, and your peers, you get to hear your President make you feel even more worthless. No jobs for the “ugly” girls, sorry ladies.

Youre disgusting

These words spewed from Trump’s mouth during a disposition when a female lawyer asked to pump breast milk for her 3 month old daughter. After all,

Well you know, pregnancy is neverits a wonderful thing for a woman, its a wonderful thing for the husband, its certainly an inconvenience for a business. And whether people want to say that or not, the fact is it is an inconvenience for a person that is running a business

Do you think Donald would suggest this woman quit her job? After all, “it is certainly an inconvenience for a business”

You have to treat em like s**t

This one speaks for itself. Published in New York Magazine in 1992, Donald Trump expressed his opinion on how women should be treated.

Donald Trump’s lack of compassion and empathy are two things America does not need in a leader. Trump continues to regularly surprise me with his insensitivity. The wage gap, racial equality, and the “we can do it” movement are all reasons why these Trump comments are important. Come on ladies, it’s time to demand respect and vote for someone who respects you!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
