1.  "I’ve got your back" is more than a saying; it’s a way of life for us. Every day our soldiers down range (overseas fighting for freedom) experience dangerous situations. Without their brothers looking out for them, it’s more than likely that they will be killed. 

2.   We’ve got the real toys, whether that be an M4 or a Glock 18 (types of weapons, for those of you who are less inclined). Not only do we protect ourselves with these, but we protect the ones we love.  

3.   Since we’re talking about toys, we might as well mention our aircraft and vehicles. Whether we’re in the sky in our UH-60 (Blackhawk) or on the ground in our HMMWV (Hum-Vee), we’re always riding in style.   

4.   Ladies love a soldier, and there is no better pick up line than ‘I’m in the Army.’ However, when it comes down to it, our battle buddy comes before any girl. 

5.   We have sworn to protect and defend the constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign or domestic. So, basically, we’re more ‘merican than you will ever be. 

6.   Uncle Sam pays for us to do what you pay thousands of dollars for (go to school). Thank you, US taxpayers. 

7.  No matter which military base you end up at, we have a chapter and brothers who will welcome you with open arms. 

8.   We’re the largest, most diverse, and oldest fraternity in the United States. Our founder’s day is June 14, 1775. Hell, we’re older than the United States itself. 

9.   President George Washington was in charge of our brotherhood before he was in charge of the country.     

While we may wake up a zero-dark-thirty, we’re waking up next to our brothers and sisters, and we’re damn proud to do it. No matter where we go, what we’re doing, or how we’re doing it, soldiers’ stick together and will always be America’s oldest fraternity.
