To start off, she doesn’t want Donald Trump at her funeral so clearly she has amazing selectivity. When she has to pick a supreme court justice we can trust her to pick the right one.
Other than just that, Amy Schumer is the most open woman that has been in the spotlight. Schumer does not hold back the drugs she has done, all the alcohol she has drank and all the men she has slept with. Before our generation and even our generation now, a women drinking too much is still frowned upon and looked at in a nasty light or when women smoke, guys (not all guys but many from my experience) get instantly turned off, but think it's okay when they do it, even admitting sleeping with more than one person to males is considered a slut. Which let me say, sleeping with one guy or even 30 people, no one can put a number on when it becomes too many. Everyone lives their own lives and do their own thing and it isn’t up to anyone else to have an opinion on it. Schumer openly tells you and admits everything without shame and when there are candidates now hiding their secrets and talking nasty when it is not their place to we have to recognize we need an open and honest person in the presidential seat.

Amy Schumer has dealt with emotional, physical and physiological abuse and has over come it all. Being in the spotlights brings a lot of critics who will bad mouth you in any way they can, and Schumer takes in what they have to say and fires back with her strength. If were looking for a female president, there we go. We need someone strong and with a good backbone who can hold her own when something unappealing is thrown at her. She has been talked down to and hurt by men she thought were all there for her. Not all women can overcome such hard events in their lives but Schumer has found a way to move past it and grow from the hurt that they put on her. We need someone that can take something so rugged and turn it into a lesson. Her strength teaches young women that when something does not feel comfortable or right, you need to remove yourself and not look back.
Amy has admitted to being an introvert. You wouldn’t think an introvert could be president and be able to work with an entire country or even government from all over the world. Although, being an introvert myself, I know we have the capability of working well on our own but also being just as productive with others after having to charge up on our own. Schumer stands up in front of hundreds of people at a time on her own and tells jokes for a living and has clearly strived at it. Standing up in front of hundreds of government officials will have no effect on her and while she’s giving an important speech she can throw in a joke or two to liven up the mood.
Amy is one of the hardest working women to get where she is and is not entirely recognized for it. In her book she goes over all the jobs she has had in order to just survive and all the crappy environments she has been stuck in before being able to stand up to a packed out Madison Square Garden. She has gone from small comedy clubs without making anyone laugh to being one of the funniest women in the entertainment world today. Even today she has become an author, an actress, created her own show and screenwriter. She has dedicated everything she has for years to get where she is today. You don’t find people with that kind of devotion everywhere and when you see someone with the will power to push and push to get where they want to be you have to respect. With the strive she has Amy Schumer can really do anything she puts her mind to.
Therefore, Amy Schumer should be our next president because we aren’t going to find another woman like her for a long time. Not only does Amy Schumer hold all the qualities stated before but she has overcome so much more than just that, so I will be writing your name in Amy.
