I am a big fan of goldfish. They’re easy to carry around and are great for a quick snack between, during, or after classes. Plus, they’re one of the few childhood snacks that no one judges you for eating, no matter how old you are. So basically, they’re an all around great and delicious snack. Yet, upon talking with my friends, I have discovered my favorite flavor of goldfish isn’t the same. In fact, according to my friends, my favorite flavor is the worst.
But obviously, they’re wrong.
My favorite flavor — whole wheat goldfish — is by far the best flavor of goldfish.
There, I said it! Now, now, hear me out. Unlike what my friends claim, I am not an 80-year-old grandma nor am I trying to tell everyone to eat better. I’m just saying, whole wheat goldfish are the best flavor of goldfish.
Let’s be real, whole wheat goldfish have the best “goldfish” flavor. They taste like original goldfish, but they have a more intense flavor. In turn, this makes it so easy to eat a good amount of them and really, isn’t that what everyone wants out of a good snack?
Oh, and no matter what the haters (my friends) say, whole wheat goldfish are 1000x better than the flavor blasted ones. The flavor blasted are so messy and the flavor gets caked on your fingers. So then you miss some of the flavor cause it’s collected on your fingers! That, and the whole wheat ones stay fresh longer, so they don’t really get stale. All the flavor and all of the crunch. What more could you ask for?
So, to sum it all up, whole wheat goldfish are by the best flavor of goldfish and everyone should think so too (*cough my friends cough cough*).
