Who Would You Be If You Were One Of The Main Characters In A Movie?

Do you ever watch a movie and wonder what it would be like if you were a character in it? Then you zone out and totally change the movie in your head, putting yourself in the role of one of the characters? Well, I do that…. a lot actually. I like to imagine what I would do in a certain situation or who I would be. So keep reading if you want to enter my stream of consciousness of who I think I would be if I were in certain movies.

" Harry Potter"

I love Harry Potter. I watch the movies all the time. I’m also that annoying person who can quote 90% of the movie too. But what if I was in Harry Potter? Who would I be? Would I be Harry? Nah, probably not. I don’t think I’m destined to be “The Chosen One”.

I don’t even think I want to be “The Chosen One”. Too many people try to hurt Harry. Too many people expect too much from Harry. I don’t need all of that in my life. I’m not really much of a Hermione either. I’m smart and everything, but I’m not that smart. So who would I be? Ron. And I’m okay with that. I can relate to Ron on some levels. He eats a lot,

is afraid of spiders,

and he is a low key (high key) important character in the movies/books.

Shout out to being Ron.

"The Hunger Games"

First and foremost, I am not Katniss. I wish, but no. She does too much for my life. I like her character for the most part (TEAM GALE ALL THE WAY),

but like I said, she does too much for my life. Starting with volunteering to be tribute to replace her sister Prim in The Hunger Games.

I couldn’t. I get why she did it, admire it even, but I just couldn’t do it. And let’s say I did for some reason do it, I would not survive. I’m a dancer and I go to the gym regularly so I consider myself to be pretty athletic, but all of that running and hiding in trees is not for me. I would say I’m more of a Peeta. I can chef it up in the kitchen and my make-up skills are improving so hiding myself in the mud is a possibility.

I go to the gym and lift sometimes, so I’m not saying I could throw boulders, but I am confident in my abilities to throw semi-heavy objects. Although Peeta makes some questionable decisions, that I don’t agree with, I would most likely be him if I were in The Hunger Games.

"The Avengers"

In terms of the original team…. I feel like I wouldn’t even know how to operate the suit so I wouldn’t be Iron Man. I almost want to say that I’m The Hulk because you can’t ever tell when I’m really mad because I hide it so well, but I’m just not feeling that. I’m not an annoying, self-righteous peasant so that rules out being Captain America (yeah, I said it). I don’t really see myself as a Thor, so he’s out. So who’s left? Black Widow and Hawkeye. I used to take Taekwondo but I don’t think that equates me to having the skills that Black Widow has, unfortunately, so I can’t be her. I also have no experience with guns.

That leaves Hawkeye, which makes sense actually. I’m not going to say that I’m useless, but I’m kind of just there just doing my thing. Coming in handy every now and then. Just like Hawkeye.

"The Lion King"

One of my favorite movies ever. I’ve been debating this internally for awhile now. Actually in terms of Disney movies in general, my friends and I always talk about who we think we would be, so this has been given a lot of thought. I’m sarcastic and everything, but I could never kill my brother (even though he’s a peasant), so I’m not Scar.

But if I were to reverse the situation, hopefully my brother would never want to kill me, so I can’t be Mufasa either. I’m definitely not Zazu; he’s too much of a wimp. I do break out in random song and dance sometimes (referencing Lion King 1 ½ here) so I could be Timon…but no. I would be Pumbaa based off of the sole fact that I eat a lot.

But then part of me wants to be Nala because she’s always showing up Simba and she’s that voice of reason.

My mind is telling me Nala, but my body, my body is telling me Pumbaa.

So that’s who I think I would be in those movies. I hope this sparked your imagination and got you thinking about who you would be in movies. Happy imagining!

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
