Today’s media is dominated by the infamous. With every blink of the eye, there is yet another figure on television making ludicrous statements about a group of people or incident. Unbelievable words come from the mouths of those you'd expect, but also those who you would anticipate would have much more poise and grace.

One such example of this is the Donald. Our Republican presidential candidate may be the biggest offender of publicly offensive statements that we have in the news today. He is outspoken, crass, and often makes offhand sexist and racist comments.

Another prime example is George Zimmerman, the man who murdered Trayvon Martin back in 2013, which was one of the events that sparked the Black Lives Matter movement. He has often made disturbing and disgusting remarks regarding the shooting and Black Lives Matter supporters in general, but also about women and about our country.

But here's the thing: sometimes, the quotes from these two are indistinguishable from one another. It is said that your actions reveal who you truly are, and though Donald Trump did not kill Trayvon Martin or retweet a picture of his lifeless body, and Zimmerman is not a candidate for the presidency, the fact that a statement from one could be mistaken for a statement from the other is kind of a ridiculous notion. Can you tell who said what?

1. "My Twitter has become so powerful that I can actually make my enemies tell the truth."

2. "All the media has proven with that is I get hotter women than you do, amigo."

3. “You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media writes as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass."

4. "I am what I am, I am what I am."

5. "I deal with the hatred by loving my supporters more."

6. "Nobody notices when things go right."

7. "Most Americans are f*cking idiots anyway."

8. "I will put myself in a position to help another human in any way I can."

9. "Laziness is a trait in the blacks."

10. "I am not a racist."

And the results....

1. Donald Trump

2. George Zimmerman

3. Donald Trump

4. Donald Trump

5. George Zimmerman

6. George Zimmerman

7. Donald Trump

8. George Zimmerman

9. Donald Trump

10. George Zimmerman

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
