‘Who Is Under The Sheet?' Revisited

Okay, let me just start my saying this:

Oh. My. God.

Oh.

My.

God.

Let’s go back a few weeks ago, when I dedicated one of my articles to discussing and speculating who dies in the Winter Finale of “How To Get Away With Murder.” The one person I thought it could not be was Wes, because duh. Wes is an untouchable, or at least I thought he was. Everyone who thought otherwise was so wrong. I could not even comprehend how they could consider the fact that Shonda Rhimes would find a way to kill off the one character Annalise Keating still cares for deeply. Let’s take a look at a part of my previous article about Wes:

“I have heard people think it could be Wes, since he and Annalise do have that weird relationship with each other, and Annalise would be devastated if anything ever happened to him. (What was up with Annalise asking Wes to move in with her earlier this season?) However, I do not think Shonda Rhimes could realistically kill off any of the Keating Five with any sort of reasonable justification. It would be mega-shocking if any of them were under the sheet, especially Wes.”

Well, I was wrong. So, so so wrong. Last week’s episode revealed that Wes was in fact “Under The Sheet,” and that the episode that revealed him to be “safe” was actually from a scene that took place prior to the fire. I knew something was up during the episode when it was revealed that the party scene where Asher was deemed alive actually took place before the fire, but I did not think much of it then. It was strange, because all of these mini-revelations that occurred at the end of each episode were totally misleading, which was super-creative and kind of awesome on Shonda Rhimes’s part.

Then, most people were led to believe that Nate was the one who died, since he and Laurel were both seen entering the house when it lit on fire. I was relieved, (well, not relieved, but you know what I mean) since it meant that my guess was correct.

But then, it happened. The final revelation. As soon as they panned into the coroner’s room and they would not show whose point of view it was from, I knew it could not have been Nate. I knew something super messed up was about to happen.

And then they revealed Wes’s dead body and his burned/scorched face.

I was left with so many questions. How could this happen? Are the Keating Five now the Keating Four? Or will Oliver replace Wes, so to speak? How did he die if Nate said he was dead before the fire? His face did look burned, right?

And the list goes on and on and on.

Honestly, props to Shonda Rhimes on this episode. It was beyond fantastic. HTGAWM constantly keeps me guessing, and this revelation proves it. The upcoming half of this season is going to blow all of our minds and hopefully answer a lot of questions (while creating new ones, in true HTGAWM nature).

Regardless, this shocking revelation still has me quite surprised. I cannot wait to see what happens when HTGAWM returns in the spring.

10 Truths About Being In A Sorority

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
