Who Is ‘Under The Sheet'?

Who Is ‘Under The Sheet'?

Alright, so we are about halfway through the first half of Season Three of “How To Get Away With Murder,” and the list of potential people who could be dead in the flash-forwards is slowly dwindling down. Everyone has a theory, and so far I have heard people give arguments for every possible person left. I love this season so much in general, but especially all of the buzz the flash-forwards have created, since there is no doubt about the fact that someone definitely dies while Annalise’s house burns down. So, here is my piece on who is “Under the Sheet":

DISCLAIMER: I did not watch the episode on 10/20, so I am only using the knowledge I have from all other previous episodes.

So, who do I think is “under the sheet?”

Well, it is not Oliver (honestly, thank GOD. The HTGAWM-world without Oliver is not the kind I want to live in).

Not Bonnie, for that matter. I am indifferent toward this revelation.

And Laurel is not the one under the sheet, either, and I am eternally happy, because although I have an unpopular opinion in saying this, I do really like Laurel. However, it does seem as if she is critically injured. I am assuming Laurel will survive and pull through, but she is not necessarily “safe.” Just not dead.

With the remaining list, I think it has to be one of Annalise’s two on/off lovers- Eve Rothlow and Nate Lahey. There are only a few people Annalise would break down sobbing over, and the two people she has felt a strong emotional, non-platonic connection to at one point or another on the show are definitely on that list. I am leaning toward this being Eve, since it seems that Annalise does love her more than she loves Nate at times. I feel that Annalise is with Nate out of convenience and only feels intermittent affection for him, where it seems as if she truly does love Eve. I could definitely see Annalise having the reaction she did toward the dead body if she saw Eve’s face. I could also, however, see her having that reaction toward Nate. My vote is on either one.

I have heard people think it could be Wes, since he and Annalise do have that weird relationship with each other, and Annalise would be devastated if anything ever happened to him. (What was up with Annalise asking Wes to move in with her earlier this season?) However, I do not think Shonda Rhimes could realistically kill off any of the Keating Five with any sort of reasonable justification. It would be mega-shocking if any of them were under the sheet, especially Wes.

The other popular answer I hear people say is that Frank is under the sheet, which I could realistically see right after Eve and Nate on my list. Frank has most notably been on the run this season, with Annalise and him being on this weird chase after/away from each other. I do not know how this situation will play out for them this season, but even with the current animosity Annalise feels toward Frank, I could see her being quite visibly upset over his death -- even more so if she is responsible for it.

In general, there are a number of people who could be “under the sheet,” so to speak. A lot of these possible answers seem true, but when it comes down to it, I think Eve or Nate is going to be revealed as the dead body in the ambulance on the mid-season finale in the next few weeks.

Although Nate and Eve are my choices, what are yours? Wes? Michaela? Asher? Connor?

Of course, knowing Queen Shonda Rhimes, she is going to throw something at us that none of us are going to be able to comprehend once the reveal occurs. None of our choices are safe. It could turn out to be the most surprising story behind the revealed body. So, while speculating is fun, deep down we all know to expect the dark, twisted, and unexpected in discovering who is “under the sheet.”

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
