You guys are probably all familiar with the "Salt Bae." For those of you who aren't, the "Salt Bae" is a Turkish chef who has garnered all sorts of social media buzz due to the way the he romanticizes and perfectly slices his meats. The Salt Bae, whose real name is Nusret Gokce, is a very attractive man with black hair that's long enough to create a man bun, a face that's chiseled by God himself and a personality which is as extra as anyone could ever imagine.

Just look at the way he sprinkles that salt. This man is the literal definition of extra.

According to the Turkish media outlet Aksam, Nusret was born in 1983 to a coal miner. As one of five children, Nusret could not attend school as financial issues were a major concern for his family. So to make a living for himself, Nusret became a butcher's apprentice in his teens. Prior to opening up his first steakhouse restaurant in 2010, Nusret travelled all across the world, from Argentina to New York, constantly perfecting his craft. Now that he owns seven steakhouse restaurants in Turkey and Dubai, the Salt Bae is riding on Cloud Nine.

The Salt Bae already has over a million followers on Instagram. While he's not making love with his meats or doing intense boxing workouts to perfect his sculpted body, Nusret is seen spending time with his children. How many children does the Salt Bae have? He is the proud father of nine beautiful children. On one of his Instagram posts, he captioned the below picture with the following: “The man who does not spend time with his family is not a real man.”

By no means is the Salt Bae an "unknown chef." Nusret has long been associated as a rockstar in his native Turkey. All of his restaurants has garnered lots of attention from international celebrities and athletes. Now that he's going viral on social media, he's getting a lot more recognition that he could ever imagine. Even Bruno Mars hilariously tweeted out the iconic picture of the Salt Bae dramatically sprinkling salt onto a slab of ribs.

Never change, Salt Bae. In the words of Bruno Mars, you're amazing just the way you are.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
