Valentine's Day is around the corner, which is why I thought it would be fun to figure out which fictional character is in love with themselves the most. Why? Well, a common trend I noticed in a lot of movies is that there is at least one character that is absolutely obsessed with themselves that it becomes meme-worthy, and everyone winds up making fun of that character. You may just recognize a few! Without further ado, let's find out which fictional character loves themselves the most!

It's NOT Mike Wazowski

You might think Mike Wazowski from "Monsters, Inc." would be the one who is the most obsessed with himself, but he actually isn't. Sure, he loves seeing himself on a magazine (even if the sticker covers his face) and he even says something to the effect of, "Sometimes I could just marry myself," but Mike isn't that vain. He has a girlfriend, Celia, who he is head over heels in love with and he does care a lot about the safety of Boo towards the end of the film and is constantly trying to keep Sulley in good spirits. I don't doubt that Mike has stared at himself in the mirror for a couple of hours, but he definitely is not the most self obsessed.

It's NOT Ashton Kutcher's character Hank from "Cheaper by the Dozen"

Ashton Kutcher plays a real douche in "Cheaper by the Dozen," but he isn't the most self obsessed character, either. Hank loves seeing himself in toothpaste commercials more than he likes getting laid, or at least that's what it looks like. Hank never cares about his girlfriend and he absolutely hates her family. The only other thing that Hank loves as much as himself and seeing himself in commercials is talking about the "paparazzi" that "follows" him around due to the commercial. Oh, and his Lebaron car! But despite all of this he still isn't the worst. That leads us to our next character.

It's NOT Hans of the Southern Isle

How? How could it not be Hans? How could Hans of the Southern Isle from "Frozen" not be the character that is the most self obsessed? He gives up the opportunity of being Anna's boyfriend! He loses his credibility with any of the other ladies in the "Frozen" world. He does all of that because he is in love with himself and because he wants the throne all to himself. How could he not be the worst? Well, as terrible as he, is there is one Disney character that is even more self obsessed and who has been around even longer than Hans. Yep! That's right. You know exactly who I'm talking about!

Gaston IS the most self obsessed character

Hell yeah! No one loves himself like Gaston, kisses himself like Gaston! Gaston has a whole song about why he thinks he is so awesome that he sings with a group of admirers. He can't even comprehend why Belle wouldn't want to be with him. He has to get killed by the Beast before realizing that Belle isn't into him because she doesn't care even the slightest about him like he does. Hans' vanity never gets him killed and Hank and Mike could never even compare to Gaston. Gaston is the original narcissist. He'd probably love that he was the winner in this article, but I don't think he'd realize that is a bad thing!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
