Who Is Really Waging A War On Women?

Strong and independent or dependent on the government?

In the dirty world of politics that we live in, many people love to spread rumors and misinformation around. One of the common myth I hear constantly is about the GOP’s “war on women”, which I find to be completely false. This myth is mainly spread by individuals that consider themselves to be in the democratic. Some of their reasons are as follows.

“Republicans are only old white men.”

I think myself and everyone that’s a part of Turning Point USA would disagree. If you still think I am wrong, check out conservative Twitter.

“Republican women depend on men.”

Now more than ever more Republican women are speaking out, and they tend to be women who are fiercely independent. They don’t need a man or the government to tell them what to do or to help them achieve their goals.

“Republicans are pro-life, so they must hate women.”

Because believing that a grown woman should be responsible and take precaution before they get pregnant is horrible.

“Republicans want women to pay for their own birth control because they hate women.”

Because it isn’t plainly obvious that if you can’t afford a simple birth control prescription then you shouldn’t be involved in sexual reproduction.

“Republicans don’t believe in the wage gap, because they think women should make less.”

Who cares that the wage gap myth has been disproved plenty of times.

Now let’s look at how this compares to the Democratic Party.

“Democrats are young and diverse.”

Look at their frontrunners for the presidential nomination. They scream youth and diversity. Yes, a lot of young people tend to be democratic but it's okay, we all go through a rebellious phase.

“Democratic women are independent”

So independent that they think they need special laws and women only zones. Obviously, men oppress them just by being in their presence.

“Democrats are pro-choice, so they must love women.”

They do not love women, they just want women to vote for their party. The best way to do this is to tell them that they don’t have to be responsible for their actions, and that they shouldn’t be held accountable.

“Democrats want women to receive free birth control because they love women.”

They only support “free” birth control because they support big government and want everyone, including women, to be dependent on the government. I mean there is no way that you can support yourself.

“Democrats love to talk about the wage gap, because they think women should be equal to men.”

They constantly ignore the fact that the wage gap has been disproved. Instead they want to look at the pay difference between men and women in Hollywood or high level jobs. They don’t look into the factors of their pay such as how much screen time an actor or actress has or how much experience they have. You’re in the movie for 10 minutes and he’s in it the whole time. He worked for three months while you were on set for a day. Obviously you deserve just as much, if not more pay then he does.

One party believes that women are equal to men, while the other thrives on infantilizing women and feeding them misinformation.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.
