Born on February 19th, 1965, coming straight out of Cuba, raised in North Bergen, New Jersey, Joey "Coco" Diaz has been the antidote for tons upon tons of people around the world. As a killer Comedian and leader of "The Church Of Whats Happening Now" podcast alongside Lee "The Flying Jew" Syatt, Uncle Joey has given insights on life that are to be compared to none as he tells it how it is and says what you may be too afraid to say.

He has spread messages which have changed lives and brought laughter as he educates the viewers and listeners on life and who he is. Joey was born in Cuba but eventually relocated to North Bergen, New Jersey in the 70s with his family. He was only 3 when he lost his father, but he did have a figure in his life as his mother played both roles and his step-father did what he could as a man for Joey.

He was exposed to drugs and even crooked police at a young age as his mother ran a successful Bar and a numbers racket. He had the comedy bone in his body even as a child as he always brought the laughs out of his friends and people around him. He had a relationship like no other with his Mother, but tragically when he was 15 he found his mother dead on the floor.

That is when life really began to hit Joey as things grew harder but he had been taken in at different times by people who cared and loved for him. Though Joey was in trouble and had his fair share, things did begin to get progressively worse as he was getting involved in drugs and crime.

By the time he was in his late teens/early 20's Joey had decided to move to Boulder, Colorado and enroll in the University Of Colorado. Things went along as he lived there, but this was around the time things really began to spiral as he was arrested for Kidnapping and Robbery.

This (in the long run) ended up being one of the best things to happen to Coco and he has always reminded us of this. While in Prison when the projector would not work, the inmates would get Joey to go up on stage and go off about whatever, he would have them in stitches and it became something to look forward too. This is where his comedy career began and the roots really began to spread.

Fast forward to the 90's and Joey's career had begun to develop as he gained spots and started to mold his comedy. Around 1997 is when he met his best friend and fellow comedian Joe Rogan. Rogan would bring Coco on tour and had Joey open up for him more times than anyone could count. Then and there a Brothership was built. He also was close friends with late comedian Ralphie May.

We can even see Joey from time to time On The Joe Rogan Experience with every episode with the 2 of them together are classics.

Diaz gained roles in movies like BASEketball, American Gun, Analyze That, Spiderman 2, Grudge Match and his biggest film appearance was in The Longest Yard. He has even made TV appearances on shows like Law & Order, NYPD Blue, and the cult classic MADtv. He has even appeared on close friend Ari SHaffirs "This is not happening" on comedy central.

As of 2018, Joey "coco" Diaz is still running the TREMENDOUS Church Of Whats Happening Now With Co-host and producer Lee Syatt, there is no topic they will not cover as they take on the infamous Stars Of Death and take bong rips for the ages. With the podcast now over 564 episodes, each episode of the podcast has a tale to tell and a story to learn with plenty of guests from names like Joe Rogan, Eddie Bravo, Big John Mcarthy, Ralphie May, Kate Quigly, Ester Ku, Ali Siddiq, Greg Fitzsimmons, Ms Pat, Tom Segura and Jim Norton, the list goes on and on.

It is a Church Session you do not want to miss. Out of respect he never forgets to play Tony Bennet for his Mother and his Periscope Motivation Speeches can get anyone through any day, Diaz has made a mark like no other and helps people every day.

Though Joey Diaz has battled Drug Addiction, Weight Issues, and his own demons, the experiences made him the Uncle Joey we all know and love today. The Influence of Richard Prior runs deep, as well as others. From Rolling in Jujitzu and being known as Joey Karate, Coco has done it all, and more importantly, he continues to do it alongside his wife Terry and their beautiful little girl Mercy Diaz. He released his first 1-hour comedy special "Socially Unacceptable" in 2016 which he killed and did what he does best, Comedy.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
