Who am i to you?

I am me

Who am i to you?

If I asked you who I am to you what would you say? Would you list our relationship? Like sister, daughter, lover, friend.. Would you describe me by my physicality? Say I'm beautiful and tall and have cinnamon skin, full lips, and long ringlets curls that reach down to my hips.. Could you tell me the color of my aura or describe the outline of my soul? Can you even see it? Can you feel my energy flow? Can you see the swirls of pink and purple that dominate the color of my aura? Are you confident in what the colors mean, or do you kinda know, sorta? Have you ever been taught to look inside someone's eyes? How to peer through the windows and see what's inside? Can you see what I hide deep in my soul? If not.. Have you ever wanted to know? Who would you compare me too? Is it possible to do such a thing? I guess you could say I'm a combination of things in my being.. Would you describe me as an idea? Tell people I was the embodiment of love, from the man himself, high up above.. Would you say that I was so illuminated that it seemed at times I was surrounded by fire.. tell them how I left spots of my light wherever I went, and touched hearts with a passion that never seemed to tire... Would you say I was superhuman? That I knew things you've never said aloud, made you feel like I was truly sent by the man in the clouds.. Would you say I was weird or unusual? Some have said this, and yes it's very true..to most I am a weird one, and there's nothing I can do.. Do you find my weirdness bad or do I bring your weird out too? What is considered weirdness to you? What would your answer be.. if I asked the question..who am I to you? Would you say that I was limitless? And that there was nothing i couldn't do.. would you say i gave my all in everything i pursue? Would you say I was fearless? If I ever was afraid, you never really knew. That I hide it well, so you could never tell because I always helped you. Would you say I was queen of the animals? My nephew would say this, I can say that its true.. because they always did what I told them to do. And if you ever saw me around any animal you would probably desribe me this way too, Would you say I was the girl that lit up the room? That I seem mysterious yet transparent too.. Would you say that I am not one thing but 2? Am I more than that, am I too complex for you? Could you describe my duality if I asked you to? Does the question seem easy to you? Do you have to think or know right away, what you would really say? If I asked.. Who am I to you? The answer is different for everyone you see, i do not expect you to know everything, not very many have seen the depth of me.. Who am I to you? There is no wrong answer, I'm whoever you perceive me to be, you could say I'm the song, or even the dancer.. I am whatever you think I am regardless of someone else's view.. This is because I asked you NOT who I truly am, but who am I to you?

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
