Whispers of a forgotten time fill the air. Whispers said in the dark by people who might have been said to have gone mad. Here and there countless. Innumerable thoughts pass.
When they struggle with the darkness and they try to live past it. This is what misguides mankind, is trying to deal with that which comes to pass. We hold on to these notions of this is what this is, this is how this thing works. When it does not work this way, we are not prepared.
We create these perceptions that seem to make sense to ourselves, but in reality we cannot know the truth of these perceptions. Just because we see something a certain way, and that way seems to make full sense, it cannot be that this is full understanding.
Full understanding is infinite, it cannot be reached. One can become closer and closer to it, but they will never reach it. To say that one has met “full understanding” is proof that they do not understand. In order to fully understand something, we would not only have to understand its applications and theories, but we would have to understand not understanding these things as well. This is not impossible to do, but it would also require that we understand the entire universe and its vastness, because everything is connected.
But we can become privy to that which comes to pass, if we do not focus on understanding itself, but rather the nature of understanding. One must be careful in doing this because assumptions will be made that are incorrect that will further lead to misunderstanding. It is the degree of these misunderstandings that rattle us, when we find out that things are not at all how they seem.
This is generally the case that things are not as they seem. How is this? This is because the individual must create meaning in life, given that we are subjective beings meaning must be realized on the subjective level and the understanding of it cannot be given to us by others. The individual creates something in a sense, they create an understanding based on their limited relative perception.
This understanding cannot be all knowing because to know everything is to not know anything. It is by knowing nothing that we can know everything. This is because that is the nature of existence. Things exist in ways that are interpreted, what this means is that we create an objective definition for something that must be understood subjectively.
Much of the scope of this article is beyond the realm of normal thought, this is because the world does not lead most of us to think in this way. Society has formed in such a way where this thought means nothing, but if we truly want to change the world, then this thought is required. There are countless innumerable great minds out there, and they have, and will create countless great things. But until we can begin to think about the nature of our existence, relative to the Earth which gives us life (not quite the universe yet), then all of our “progress” is merely an illusion and or distraction.
