One of the greatest sports dramas on television was "Friday Night Lights." Netflix streams all five seasons and although it went off the air five years ago, it's still a favorite of many TV-watchers. One of the reasons we love the show is the real-world feel that it has; we can stick ourselves in the town of Dillon and experience for ourselves what people are going through. We might know people that fit the molds of different FNL characters, but have you ever wondered which character you are? Read the descriptions below and think about what character you'd be!

1. You might be Tim Riggins if...

You might be Tim Riggins if you like to party and play sports, but also if you're a tough guy with a secret soft spot. Tim is the heartthrob of the show and although he's a partier, he's a good guy when it comes down to it. You're like him if you're loyal to your family, friends and teammates, and even though you might make a lot of mistakes, you tend to fix them any way you can. Tim is the tough guy of Dillon, but he's a big softy when the situation calls for it.

2. You might be Matt Saracen if...

You might be Matt Saracen if you're a nice person with wisdom beyond your years. Family comes first, considering he has to take care of his ill grandmother and wants his dad to come home from Iraq. You might be Matt if you're always the underdog too. It seems like there's someone better ahead of you and if something bad is going to happen to someone, it will most likely be you.

3. You might be Landry Clarke if...

You might be Landry Clarke if someone keeps calling you the wrong name and if you're a nice, somewhat nerdy kind of person. Landry and Matt are best friends, and they're two of the nicest people in the series. He's the heart of the Panthers and Lions football teams and if you're starting to play a sport to impress the pretty girl in school, you might be more like Landry than you think.

4. You might be Coach Eric Taylor if...

You might be like Coach Eric Taylor if you abide by the three F's: family, friends and football. Taylor is one of the nicest characters in the show and he will stop at nothing to help his family and friends. He has a relationship with his players where he thinks of them as family, and he has a spot in his heart for every single one of them. However, when he gets mad, his presence is intimidating. If you're someone people want to be with, not against, then you and Coach are one in the same.

5. You might be Tami Taylor if...

You might be like Tami Taylor if family is everything to you. As a high school counselor, she wants to help the students of Dillon. While she and Coach Taylor might fight for a night about something that happened at school, it never impacts their family on a long-term basis. If you're a rock for your significant other and they're your rock, you and Tami Taylor are very similar people.

6. You might be Julie Taylor if...

You might be Julie Taylor if you're a snarky teenager who butts heads with your parents often. At the same time, you can also be mature and level-headed about most things. You might be like Julie if you give the athlete who you think is a jock a chance and you quickly find out that he's a kind-hearted, genuine guy like Matt Saracen. While you like to do things your parents might not agree with, you'll do anything to help them and see them happy.

7. You might be Jason Street if...

You might be like Jason Street if a personal tragedy becomes your motivation. If you're someone who perseveres through thick and thin, you and Jason have something in common. Jason and Tim are best friends, and although it seems like they spend more time being mad at each other than anything else, it's only because they have a deep love for one another as brothers. If you're someone who would do anything for their son, you and Street are one in the same.

8. You might be Bryan "Smash" Williams if...

You might be like Smash Williams if people know you by your nickname, not your real name, and if you like to talk in the third person. Outside of your cocky personality, you want what's best for your family and your teammates. You think that your athletic ability will take you where you want to go, but your coach and family know better than that and help you with a back-up plan. The whole town knows you and how good you are, but that isn't enough; the dream is the NFL.

9. You might be Vince Howard if...

You might be like Vince Howard if you found football, or some other interest, by accident and became an instant star. Although you might've let your popularity get the best of you, you know the difference between right and wrong. You might have to be the man of the house because your father got in trouble with the law, but that doesn't stop you. Your determination and heart are a big part of other people's lives and the community around you.

10. You might be Luke Cafferty if...

You might be like Luke Cafferty if you're a down-and-dirty farm boy whose heart is as pure as they come. On the field, you will play through anything to win, and at home, pleasing your parents is a big part of your life. Paired with someone like Vince, your heart and determination are unstoppable in anything you do, whether it's on or off the field.

11. You might be like Tyra Collette if...

You might be like Tyra Collette if you're the girl everyone wants, but you've got your own agenda. You want to get out of your small town that you've been confined to. If you're known as the tall girl in school, you and Tyra have that in common, and if you play a role as a big sister figure to someone like Julie Taylor, you just might be a little like Tyra.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
