Which DreamWorks Character Are You?

We all know and love DreamWorks movies; these movies were practically our childhoods, after all. Although you may not believe in Zodiac signs, many people believe Zodiac signs tell a lot about a person. Each zodiac sign has certain traits, and here are the DreamWorks characters that represent each zodiac! Which DreamWorks character are you?

Aquarius (January 20 to February 18): Mac the Hen from “Chicken Run” This Scottish hippie hen is both eccentric and intelligent, like an Aquarius.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20): Fairy Godmother from “Cinderella” Pisces are compassionate and wise, just like Cinderella’s fairy godmother.

Aries (March 21 - April 19): Merida from “Brave” This brave and courageous princess has all of the characteristics of an Aries.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20): Angie from “Shark Tale” Tauruses are sensible and realistic. Angie, the mature and practical receptionist in Shark Tale, is the best match to a Taurus.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20): Fiona from “Shrek” Geminis are adaptable and affectionate. Fiona can live comfortably in a swamp and a castle, and she is also extremely affectionate to everyone.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22): Miguel from “The Road to El Dorado” He fell in love with the people of the city of gold. Instead of taking as much gold as he could and escaping, he wanted to stay back with the people. He's the most loving and loyal guy I can think of.

Leo (July 23 - August 22): Alex from “Madagascar” Warm-hearted and cheerful, and he's also a lion!

Virgo (August 23 - September 22): Adam Flayman from “The Bee Movie” A practical and analytical bee lawyer is a perfect fit for a Virgo.

Libra (September 23 - October 22): Tuya from “Prince of Egypt” After she took in baby Moses as her own son, it is obvious that she is a Libra.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21): Lola from “Shark Tale” I didn’t even know fish could be that flirty.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21): Marty from “Madagascar” Marty’s drive to escape to the wild show his curiosity and energy: the main characteristics of a Sagittarius.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19): Tulio from “The Road to El Dorado” Even though Miguel fell in love with all of the people in the city of gold and wanted to stay back, Tulio was determined to do what they both came to do: get the gold.

Although it may be a mystery whether or not Zodiac signs mean anything, these DreamWorks characters have the supposed characteristics of each sign. These were just my picks, what characters do you think go with the different zodiac signs?

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
