As always the off-season is always one of the biggest parts of any professional sport, and this one should definitely be an entertaining one with players such as LeBron James, Demarcus Cousins, Chris Paul, and Paul George expected to hit Free agency. Almost every team will throw a pitch at superstar LeBron James, but who will he actually consider playing for?
Many players where interested in the LeBron sweep stakes and many took to social media as soon as game 4 ended.
Including Enes Kanter of the New York Knicks even though The Knicks don't look to be in the running,
and Denjounte Murray of the San Antonio Spurs.
The Long shot was JuJu Smith-Schuster who tried recruiting LeBron to the NFL as you can see in the post below.
And others have found themselves trying to recruit Superstar Paul George.
Jazz Rookie Looking for superstars
As you can see in the photo above this was standout Rookie for the Utah Jazz's attempt to recruit Paul George
This is a big off-season for these super stars and a few others such as Demarcus Cousins and Chris Paul, who both can choose to either stay or leave. Recent reports have also stated that Khawi Leonard former Deffensive player of the year wants out of San Antonio, and much speculation says he wants to be In Los Angeles which could lead to a new super team if other superstars such as LeBron and Paul George head there as many experts believe they will.
Getting LeBron and PG looks to be the easier part for The Lakers in terms of money and location it's ideal for two superstars, and as for bringing in Kahwi it will take a good trade like losing young players such as Kyle Kuzma or Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram those players should have a lasting impact down the road as they have all shown progression so far. Many people believe if this team is assembled this would be the team to take Down the back to back Champions (The Goldenstate Warriors).
There's also speculation that Paul George could choose to stay in OKC but since 2016 he has said he wants to play where he is from in Los Angeles and there will also be a big effort to keep LeBron in Ohio where he is from, but he already owns a home in L.A. It could be the best for his sons' basketball futures and Lebron's post Basketball career potential in acting or broadcasting like Shaq.
The off-season started off with a bang trading the former dunk champion and once a big star Dwight Howard from the Hornets to the Nets making that his 4th team in 5 years he's 32 and most likely on the downward slope unlike LeBron who doesn't age.
Another big rumor this off-season that has been recurring is that the Warriors would push to trade for a big star like Anothony Davis but that would require giving up a lot such as players like Klay Thompson and Draymomd Green, although Klay Thompson's contract is up next season and has been suspected of wanting to leave so the Warriors could get ahead of that departure with such a move.
This off-season should definitely should be one of the most anticipated in a while especially considering the likelihood of LeBron James, potentially the most well known player in basketball, leaving the Cavaliers, where will he take all of his bandwagon fans, and who can dethrone the Warriors?
Or maybe LeBron Will say "if you can't beat them join them", and this is what we see.
