Everyone knows what happened to Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. But do you remember the Disney actors before them? You might be surprised where they are now.


1. Hilary Duff

Then:

Back in 2001, Hilary Duff was just 13 and beginning her career as "Lizzie McGuire." She went on to star in movies like "Cadet Kelly," "Agent Cody Banks" and "Cheaper By The Dozen."

Now:

Following her separation from her hockey player husband, Mike Comrie and a brief hiatus from the entertainment industry to raise her son, Hilary Duff was signed with RCA Records and stars in the comedy show "Younger."

2. Raven Symone

Then:

Although she began her career on "The Cosby Show," Raven is most known for her title role on "That's So Raven" and other Disney roles.

Now:

Currently, Raven Symone is a host on the daytime talk show "The View." She refuses to identify as gay but rather identifies as "a human who loves humans" according to a 2014 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

3. Shia LaBeouf

Then:

Known for his role in "Even Stevens" and Louis Sachar's "Holes," Shia LaBeouf was not yet known for his odd behavior and was not yet a meme.

4. Christy Carlson Romano

Then:

Most recognized for playing the sister on "Even Stevens," Romano was also the voice of "Kim Possible."


Now:

According to her Instagram, she is the "Emmy-nom'd voice of 'Kim Possible,' co-star of 'Even Stevens,' Belle on B'way, Marine Corps Veteran Wife, Youth Advocate & Coach, Pinterest addict" and is currently acting after graduating from Barnard College.

5. Steven Anthony Lawrence

Then:

This Disney actor is most known for his role as Beans on "Even Stevens" and for his appearances in "Cheaper by the Dozen" and "Kicking & Screaming."


Now:

During the holiday season of 2015, he was spotted at a Northern California mall working as a Santa's helper.

6. Dylan and Cole Sprouse

Then:

Known for playing an awkward bookworm and a ladies man, these twins starred in "Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and the spinoff "Suite Life on Deck."

Now:

The brothers graduated from NYU in 2015. Dylan has a degree in video game design and Cole has a degree in humanities and archaeology.

7. Emily Osment

Then:

After playing Hannah Montana's best friend, Emily Osment was able to escape the shadow of her older brother, Haley Joel Osment ("The Sixth Sense").

Now:

Now, the younger Osment stars on ABC Family's "Young & Hungry" (which is produced by "High School Musical"'s Ashley Tisdale).

8. Ricky Ullman

Then:

Best known for his role as Phil in "Phil of the Future," Ricky Ullman was part of Disney Channel's Circle of Stars and appeared in the original movie "Pixel Perfect."

Now:

From 2006 on, Ricky Ullman began to go by his birth name Raviv Ullman. He continues to act under his birth name.

9. Tia and Tamera Mowry

Then:

After their widely successful ABC sitcom "Sister Sister" from 1994-1999, the Mowry twins began their career at Disney with the movie "Twitches" in 2005 at age 27.

Now:

Both women continue their entertainment careers. They had a show documenting their lives that aired on the Style Network in 2011.
