When You're Not A Morning Person

When you’re not a morning person, life can be super hard. The struggle bus really gets rolling when it comes to talking about waking up within the wee hours of the rising sun. The thought of having to actually face the long day ahead seems next to impossible, and sleep becomes your best friend. As a despiser of the morning-person life, I know that things just don’t come as easy to you in the morning, everything feels ten times harder to accomplish, and functioning is an ordeal. But have no fear: people who can’t bear the thought of living life before 10AM all undergo the same struggles every early morning they face together.

1. Getting out of bed is literally impossible.

2. Coffee is just about the only thing that will wake you up.

3. You have multiple alarms set for a minute apart and still manage to sleep through them.

4. Your brain refuses to function if it’s too early.

5. You hate waking up when it’s still dark out.

6. 8AMs seem like the worst thing professors could have created.

7. When you hear an enthusiastic “Good morning!” from a cheery eyed morning person, it's all you can do not to roll your eyes.

8. You gawk at people who thrive on the sunrise-livin-la-vida-loca lifestyle.

9. It’s not that you hate them, you just really can’t relate.

The Perks of Being a Girl

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
