1. People think that, because of a stupid show, they can judge a group of people.

Not JUST the Jersey Shore, the Sopranos, the Real House Wives of New Jersey, Aqua Team Hunger Force (haha, I'd take Meatball over any of the others listed)...

2. People assume that everybody from NJ has the same attitude.

No, it's not "the New Jersey attitude" - it's your ignorance, pissing us off.

3. People think our accent is forced.

There's a NORTH, SOUTH, CENTRAL (etc) kind of accent - just because you think from watching one episode of the "Sopranos" everyone in the state says car the same, just makes you dumb.

4. People hate something that's different.

It's honestly really difficult to understand New Jersey if you're not from there. There is really nice areas (like REALLY expensive) and there's really bad places (think Newark) but if you're smart enough, you can see that for every bad thing in New Jersey, there's 3 great things that can follow just a few miles away.

Also, I guess the fact were pretty much the only ones who don't pump our own gas makes us different too.
