It's no secret that almost every girl's first word is "dada." From the minute you're born, your dad is the first man to love you unconditionally, and the first man to be wrapped around your finger. I was very fortunate to grow up with a dad that wanted to be there for every little moment in my life, and continues to be there for me no matter how far we are from each other. My dad has been my personal chef, my chauffeur, my right hand man, my hero, but most importantly, my best friend.
Even though I'm going into my junior year of college (which in itself is frightening) my dad still does so much for me. The truth is dad, I really do know how to be an adult on my own, but I just don't want to. Being able to call you at any time of the day, knowing you'll always answer, is without a doubt the highlight of my day. So much so, that I call you even if it's just to tell you about a cute animal I passed on my way to class. I know I'm growing up and I don't actually need to rely on you as much as I used to, but knowing you'll always be there for me means more than you'll ever know.
Since I was a little girl, I remember always being by your side. I've always looked up to you and admired the man you are. You are truly the reason why I've accomplished so much, and without you I wouldn't be the woman I am today. To this day, I hope that I grow up to be at least half the amazing person you are, but I know that it probably won't happen because you're pretty awesome. Whether it's helping me with car troubles, or my taxes, or boy problems, you've always been there. You are the greatest father I could've asked for, and I am truly grateful for you. No matter how old I get I will always be your little girl, and you will always be my best friend.
Love you forever.
