I recently took a week-long trip to Disney World. It was a wonderful trip, and I had the time of my life. I got to spend that time with my grandma, my aunt, uncle and their three children. Their children are 10, eight, and two. The one that I am going to talk most about is the two-year-old, Caroline. She is a little human with a huge personality that I don't think she will ever grow into. She is my little best friend, and she lights up my world. She taught me some new things on our trip.
When you take a girl to Disney, she will talk about it for weeks in advance. She will ask every time she sees you is she gets to go to "Dis World" today. She will never say the full word.
When you take a girl to Disney, she will think it is the best thing in the world when you both wear Converse. She will ask to take a picture and then when you're done, she will tell everyone all day about your shoes.
When you take a girl to Disney, she will never meet a stranger. She will talk to the people in front of you in line. She will become friends with the other kids swimming in the pool. And, she will sing to the people riding the Disney Transport bus with you.
When you take a girl to Disney, she will try to be insanely brave when meeting the characters, but deep down she will still be afraid. She will ask you to go with her. She will hide behind your leg.
When you take a girl to Disney, she will have the time of her life. She will laugh and sing and talk and dance. She will not really remember the trip a few years from now, but you will and that is all that truly matters. In the moment she enjoyed it and we were all there to experience it with her.
When you take a girl to Disney, you never know what to expect. They were some of the best days of my life.
