What It's Like To Love A Girl With Anxiety
Averi Clements

When you love a girl with anxiety, you love her fully and nothing less.

Girls with anxiety are hard to love. We question every single thing about every single person we meet. We will question your intentions with us several times a day, we will constantly drag ourselves down about whether you actually like us or not, and we will not make it easy for you.

Loving a girl with anxiety is going to be the hardest thing you will ever do. We need you to be patient with us and we need you to reassure us that your feelings are real. We need you to be supportive of every single decision we make whether it be the right or wrong one. We NEED to know that you care.

When you love a girl with anxiety, be careful with her.

She is fragile and she is a lot more guarded than you would ever expect. She is going to be very different from any other girl you’ve ever been with. There will be times when she says she wants nothing to do with you but you need to know that isn’t what she means. That may have been what she said but that isn’t what she means, at all.

When you love a girl with anxiety, you won’t be able to save her.

All you’re really going to want to do is fly in and save her from every horrible thing she’s ever encountered but you won’t be able to. She’s been through a lot but no one can save her except herself.

The day that she finally lets you in will be one of the most difficult days of her life. One day she will let you in and she will take down her walls, slowly and carefully, but the walls will come down. She will let you in the day that you let her in and when that day comes you better know how much she cares but that is the hardest thing she will ever do.

When you love a girl with anxiety, realize that there is a lot more to her than just her anxiety.

Underneath it all, there is a sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be happy with you. She may show her love or care for you in a different way than most, but you just have to pay attention.

When you love a girl with anxiety, you are choosing her every single second of every single day.

This may be one of the hardest things you’ve ever done but I promise you that it will be worth it. Be patient with her, care for her, and love her like you’ve never loved before. She will need it and she will need to know that you mean it.

Loving a girl with anxiety is not going to be easy but if you invest everything you have into her than I can promise it will be the best decision you will ever make. Just remember to be very, very careful with her. She is a work in progress but she is so so so worth it.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
