When You Find Your Person

They are the missing piece to the puzzle.

When You Find Your Person
hinessight

Throughout your life, you have relationships, and each one is different from the last. The first one you think to yourself that he is the one, but as time goes on the two of you grow apart and realize you don't want the same things out of life. Then the next few are a little bit different, but only because you have learned what you needed, what to expect, and how to handle situations differently in your relationships to come. Then finally someone special walks into your life, and makes you believe in true love and sole mates. When you find your person.

At first you have no idea who this person is, and have no expectations on what the future may hold. What you do know is that from the very first time you got into the truck you just felt right. From that moment on, it was like you found that mysterious piece to the puzzle. The unspoken understanding, the undying flame, the match to your crazy, and the one who mellows you out... That's your person.

When you walk into the grocery store to buy ice cream, there is no doubt on what ice cream to get. You both automatically know what type to buy each other, and to just go a head and pick up that pack of orange Trident because you're almost positive that the last pack is completely devoured. Your person is someone who can go to any restaurant without you and order for you. Whattaburger? "Yes ma'am, may I get a Whattaburger. No tomato, add bacon with a side of tater sticks and a large Witch Doctor?" Which is funny because the first time they ordered you something crazy like a witch doctor, you just looked at them and wondered if they had lost their mind. In all actuality, they know you so well, that they ordered it because it is all of your favorite things mixed into one. Chipotle, that is not a problem either... Because the two of you eat the same exact thing. They know you, and sometimes it's a little scary.

They know the right times to let you cool down and when to not leave you by yourself. You can never lie about how you are feeling, or even lie in general because they know you too well. They know when your mad, and even what type of mad you are. Pissed off at the world? They know it's either margaritas, chips and queso... Or if its real bad they know that a night cuddled in bed watching Netflix is the best way to comfort you. Your person pushes to you your limits, whether its testing your patients or if it is supporting you so that you can become the best version of yourself. The best version part shouldn't be hard for them because, they know your schedule better than their own.

Words can't describe the deep connection between you, and it seems like everywhere you go you have some memory with them tied to that place. When you are not with them it is like everywhere you look, there is something that reminds you that you are missing a piece of you. But when you are with them, it's like you are inseparable. This person fills your life with laughter and endless love. If you haven't found your person yet; just wait and don't force it, because the universe has a way of bringing you together. Be patient.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.

15 Things That Happen On Your Birthday

Do you have a small get-together or throw a big bash?

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
