10 Signs You Are The Phoebe Of Your Friends
If The Friends Were Homeschooled

Phoebe Buffay is one of six of the beloved "Friends" characters. Lisa Kudrow blessed us with the hilarious and honest Phoebe. We know a lot about Phoebe after watching the entire series in a week, thanks to Netflix. We know her mother killed herself, she lived on the street, her mother wasn't her birth mother, her father isn't dead, she hadn't seen the end of movies that ended sadly, she is generous enough to carry her brother's triplets, and in the end, she finds true love after not settling for marriage. In every group of friends, there is always that one friend that has had a rougher time growing up but is fun and never without a story. You might be that friend if you can relate to any of these Phoebe Buffay moments.

1. You like to keep the peace among your friends.

Whether it is a dumb fight over who ate the last of the ice cream or someone is truly upset and hurting, you are there to help everyone chill out.

2. You don't have a life plan. Not even a "pla."

You know you don't have it together, and you're not ashamed to admit it.

3. You don't care about what people think of you.

Whether running through the park or singing in a coffee shop, you do what makes you happy and don't let anyone get in the way of that.

4. You believe in love for everyone.

While helping others find their lobster, you are still looking for yours every day.

5. You're completely honest at all times.

Through song lyrics or sarcastic remarks, your true feelings are never hidden.

6. You might be slightly overdramatic sometimes.

We can all relate to this one. Sometimes, even seeing the two of your best friends kissing across the street is a reason to be dramatic.

7. You are gullible, and come by it honestly.

You trust people and they know they can get away with lying to you. It isn't your fault that you see the best in people.

8. Your sweet child-like naïveness is like no other.

So maybe at the age of 15, you stopped believing in Santa. Maybe you never stopped. Who knows?

9. You're giving, but haven't forgotten about yourself.

You want the best for others and for yourself. It isn't wrong to want things for yourself while giving to others.

10. You're always there for you friends.

Your friends know who to call when they need some help or some cheering up. That person is you. You're one of a kind and always ready to lend a hand.

Whether you're the Phoebe of your friends group or the Monica, you are an important part of the group and without you, they wouldn't be that same. Cherish the Phoebe, Monica, Rachel, Ross, Chandler, and Joey in you. Without them, we wouldn't have the great friends we have today.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
