A group of my friends from college decided we should go to Disney this weekend. Well we were dying to come back in December, but we weren't sure if we would be able to afford it. I have my Dad's birthday, my sister's birthday, and Christmas. I would definitely be drinking tap water and eating Ramen for supper if I was coming back...
Well on our last night we went to Magic Kingdom. We decided to ride Space Mountain. It's my best-friend's favorite ride. I secretly enjoyed it just as much as she did. We get there at 9:55. We wait in line for awhile, but we finally get on the ride. As soon as we are about to throw our hands up for the first drop everything changes.. The lights come on and the ride pauses... While at an incline/decline. We are officially stuck on Space Mountain. I'd like to say we were in a vacuum.
The Disney team worked diligently to get us off the ride. They were peaceful and so pleasant. However we finally get off the ride at midnight. We FINALLY got off after going through every plan in the alphabet, crying, and praying... Well once we get off we meet the park manger and roller coaster manger. They gave us all a free ticket to come back in the future for the trouble.Whoop whoop!
Then I got to take a picture in front of the castle... (At this time we were the only ones at the park because it closed at 11 p.m.) Awesome!
Needless to say... God answers prayers. I'll be back in December without eating Ramen noodles and drinking tap water to get there.
If you are ever up on top of the roller coaster and looking around... Just know God hears and answers every prayer. It may not be the answer we are looking for sometimes, but He hears your calls. It maybe as simple as a ticket to Disney or asking for a loved one to be saved. He will always provide and answer his children's prayers. Have the faith of a mustard seed.
P.S. The maintenance man's name was Jesus. I can officially say two Jesus' have saved me.
