Let's face it, getting good grades and participating in as many activities as you can in college is a must. The term "C's get degrees" no longer applies to most majors because of how competitive the job market is. And when you need to get into a highly competitive grad school in order to even get a job, you are in constant panic over your grades and activities.
1. When you realize you picked a major that requires you to get into a highly competitive grad school in order to get a job
2. Looking at grad school requirements and seeing the average GPA
3. Getting an A- in any class, even if its not for your major
4. When you find out your college's grad program only accepts 20 percent of the applicants
5. Finding your best friends in your major and knowing you will spend the next four years struggling with them by your side
6. Being envious of those who are only in school for four years and then can start their life
7. Seeing grad students walking around your major's building and wanting to be just like them when you grow up
8. Trying to get internships that you are under-qualified for
9. Those 10 seconds of confidence when you believe in yourself...
Then going straight back into panic mode
10. Looking up what else you could do with your degree if you don't get into grad school
11. Realizing there is nothing else you could do (or would want to do)
12. Imagining the day you get accepted into grad school
13. Ignoring the fact that you and your friends could end up in different grad programs
14. Having no idea how you are going to pay for grad school
Because you probably won't get a scholarship
15. Realizing that grad school means putting off entering the real world for another two to three years
