When Somebody Stops Loving you
Stocksnap

When somebody stops loving you, your world is rocked upside down. You start questioning every move you've ever made and every word you have ever said. You rack your brain trying to figure out where it all went wrong.

When somebody stops loving you, you stop feeling. You tell yourself that if you close yourself off from the rest of the world it will hurt less. You repress all of your emotions in hopes you can just continue forward like nothing happened.

When somebody stops loving you, your view on love changes. Something that you once viewed as so magical is now evil. You shield your heart in hopes of not falling in love with someone else because you know how awesome love is, but how much it hurts when it's over.

When somebody stops loving you, your future changes. The perfect future you had planned is now missing a person. That trip you had planned on going on together is now off limits. You stop going to your favorite taco place because you see ghosts of them in the booth you always sat in together.

When somebody stops loving you, you question the person you are. You try and figure out what you did to make that person stop loving you. You stay up until 3am reading old love letters and shifting through old pictures wondering what happened to those two love birds.

When somebody stops loving you, you find yourself again. You find yourself taking time to do the things that make you happy. You slowly learn that only you can control your happiness. You find yourself going on that trip that you had planned and enjoying it.

When somebody stops loving you, you start loving yourself. You take bubble baths, you go to the library, you binge watch your favorite tv show, you spoil yourself with new clothes and make up. You realize that you are so much more than you thought. You realize that you can conquer anything you set your mind to. You realize that everything happens for a reason, and you will be happy again.

When somebody stops loving you, you realize love isn't a person, but an emotion. You know you will find the right person in time and have your happily ever after.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about.
