We’ve grown up in quite an exciting era, don't you think? With all of the advancements in technology, once you turn to the left, the latest and greatest iPhone appears. These days, you can take a selfie with the front facing camera, drop a pin on your exact location, ask Siri anything you can think of, and even FaceTime your best friend across the world. With all of this technology comes those who just can’t quite grasp the concept.
I absolutely love my parents, don’t get me wrong, but after a while I have to calmly remind myself that they are new to these types of things, and I’m the one who should be helping them. I constantly find myself reminding my parents a myriad of things.

There’s a much easier way to call me than by clicking on the contacts app. Just click on my name in the messages -- there’s a phone option.
To send me a picture you can text it to me -- much easier than emailing.
I can, literally, send you my exact location.

My phone really does lose its charge pretty quick, although I charge it every night.
I might not answer my texts right away, but I fully expect you to drop everything in order to answer mine.
Texting is quicker than calling you.
Why? It just is.
So, with that being said, y’all did teach me the important things. I would have never learned how to walk, talk, make friends, or stand up for myself if y’all weren’t there to guide me. Regardless, I love y’all both, and by the way, thank you for increasing my data per month since, for some crazy reason, I just happened to go over a teeny bit.
