When did it become cool to be disrespectful to your family and people who are older than you?
We can all agree that there are people in the world that do not deserve our respect. But there are a lot more people who do deserve our respect. Walking in today's society you see kids that are entitled. By that I mean they feel as though they deserve something without actually earning it. So why is this generation of children today so entitled? We don't deserve any of the respect we have been given, but yet it is given to us anyway. Regardless of how we have been treated, we choose to show a lack of respect for our elders, men and woman who have served our country, and even our families.
When did it become cool to compromise your faith?
Your faith is one thing in life that cannot be taken from you. So why is the one thing that is most easily given up?
When did it become cool to pretend you don't care about someone?
We all know that too cool for you guy/girl that refuses to give you the time of day but as soon as you move on they get mad that you didn't give them a chance. Treating people we care about as less than what they deserve has become a common theme. It would be less complicated and less stressful to be upfront with the feelings you have with people. Miss communications could be avoided and we could live in less drama, wouldn't that be nice?
When did it become cool to be unfaithful in relationships?
Commitment. Commitment is a word that most shy away from. Why is it encouraged to have "side chicks" and why as women are you letting people treat your relationships with so little value? Relationships should be something that is formed from more than just boredom loneliness.
When did it become cool to be "easy"?
Why isn't it more of an attractive quality to find someone who is striving for more than a one night stand? Who genuinely cares for you and for your well-being as a person and no matter what happens will be by your side.
When did it become cool to hurt someone through a computer screen?
In a society where social media is so big when did people start catfishing one another or to say hurtful things while hiding behind a small screen? Cyberbullying is a ridiculous thought, think about it someone sees a photo or an opinion that doesn't please them and they just feel the need to push people to limits that could reach a level where they do not want to exist amongst people. That's completely uncalled for.
Why do you strive to be cool over being a good person?
Good things happen to good people.
