"SpongeGar" also know to the Twitter universe as "Caveman Spongebob" has randomly become the latest craze. Memes of this character have been circulating throughout Twitter for the past two weeks, and in my opinion, they are hilarious (maybe because I find everything funny?).

This caveman-like Spongebob character came to be in an episode of Spongebob Squarepants in its third season in 2004. "Ugh" was the episode in which Spongebob and his friends (in a prehistoric time period) discover fire. How this character came to be popular 12 years later — I can't answer that. What I can say, however, is that the numerous memes going around with SpongeGar (Caveman Spongebob) describe a wide variety of scenarios that one may have experienced themselves. "Yassssss!" runs rapid in my mind when I can relate to these memes. Here are some instances where SpongeGar made you realize that you might actually be SpongeGar.

As you can see, these memes are quite comical. You can put SpongeGar in any situation and it'll make sense and lighten up the mood. In a week, this will probably be forgotten or annoying, but for the time being, I will continue to laugh it up when this caveman comes up on my feed.
