We've all been extremely lazy before, let's admit it. Sometimes getting up and actually doing physical activity is too much. And when it comes to laziness, people can get pretty creative. So here's a list of some of the laziest things people have ever done (and probably some new ideas to help you when you're feeling lazy).

1. "Once I drove my car 20 minutes on empty to a gas station where employees pump the gas for you because I didn't want to get out of my car."

2. "I didn't go to school one day because I walked out the door and sneezed."

3. "All of last year I had a box of Lucky Charms between my mattress and my wall so I didn't have to get out of bed for breakfast."

4. "I texted my kid who was upstairs to come down and get the TV remote on the table across the room from me."

5. "I waited half an hour after school for my friend to be done with tutoring so he could drive me to my house that's 3 blocks away."

6. "I was in the basement of my house and I called my mom on my phone and asked her to make me Mac & Cheese and bring it to me."

7. "At the end of last semester, I would lay on top of my bed instead of going under the covers because I didn't want to make my bed in the morning."

8. "I didn't want to bend over to take off my socks so I made my sister do it for me. This happened several times."

9. "I accidentally kicked something off my bed. When I rolled over to get it I couldn't reach and accidentally fell off. I didn't want to get back up on my bed so I slept on the floor that night."

10. "One time I crawled up the stairs like I was paralyzed because I didn't want to walk up them."

11. "I call my mom and tell her to come into my room and turn my light off."

12. "I drove to work last Sunday... I live less than a block away."

13. "I didn't poop for three days because I didn't want to get out of bed. And when I did get out for food I always forgot."

14. "I sat on my couch with my best friend for 17 hours watching chick flicks because there was snow outside... and I'm a guy."

15. "One time when I went to the gym, I got there and decided I didn't want to do anything. So I laid on the floor for an hour and told people I just had a tough workout."

16."I've been sleeping on the couch in my dorm for two weeks because I have clean laundry on my bed that I'm too lazy to put away. And part of that laundry is sheets so my bed hasn't been made in two weeks either."

17. "I just put sweatpants over my jeans because I was too lazy to change."

18. "Whenever I have an itch on my body, instead of moving to itch it, I pretend I'm itching it in my mind to make the feeling go away."

19." I sleep on top of my bed instead of inside it because making it every morning got exhausting."

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
