What's on My iPhone 6s Part 2

Last week, I introduced you to my iPhone 6s and began a series of posts where I take you on a tour of the apps I have on my phone. Last week, I showed you my Church, Eat, Extras, and Games folders as well as a variety of apps from those folders. This week, I will show you the next row of folders on my phone. So, without further ado, let's get this party started!

Health Folder

In this folder, I have 7 Cups of Tea, which is an app that lets you talk to people when you want to or need to vent, but can't talk to anyone for whatever reason; Anthem BC, which is basically an app for my health insurance; Baritastic, which is a meal planner and meal tracking app for people who are planning on getting or have gotten bariatric surgery; Clue, which is a period tracking app; Red Cross First Aid; Apple Health; iDream, which is a noise maker app for when you're sleeping; Maven, which is an on-demand women's health app that basically lets you video chat with any type of physician you need (NOTE: IF YOU USE MY CODE WJCH YOU CAN GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR FREE!); MyFitnessPal; onpatientPHR, which is a patient portal for a specialist I saw; Pain Tracker Lite, which is a chronic pain tracker; PCOS Diet and PCOS Diva are apps for women who struggle with PCOS; Power Nap, which is a timer app for taking quick power naps; MyQuest which is a patient portal for Quest Diagnostics; Steps, Water Reminder, and WebMD.

The first app I will focus on is Clue. For the longest time, I was using Eve, but for some reason, I decided I didn't like it anymore and switched to Clue. I love the visuals of this app and I also love the way they track your symptoms.

The next app I will focus on is Cat Nap. As you can see, it has a little cat and a timer up to 30 minutes. My go-to length of a cat nap is 30 minutes, I love the Heavy Rain white noise and the Morning song.

Finally, the iDream app is an app that has different noises that you can play while you sleep if you need some kind of white noise.

Jobs Folder

This is where I have the Dasher app for DoorDash, Everlance which tracks my miles; Indeed, Monster, Simply Hired, Snagajob, Switch, and Workpop are job search apps.

Monies Folder

This is where I have all apps that have to do with money! Empower is a budgeting app, Tilt and Venmo are money requesting apps, and then I have US Bank and Apple Wallet.

Empower is a great app that helps you budget and organize your spending. It connects to your bank account and tells you how much you currently have in your account and helps you figure out the best amount to spend in a month. It also helps you categorize each time you spend your money.

Lifestyle Folder

Finally, my Lifestyle Folder has a bunch of apps that I don't use all the time, but I'm glad I have for when I do need them. So let's look at my Lifestyle apps:
5-0 Radio is a police scanner; ASL Dictionary; Buzzfeed; ClickOnD is a Detroit news app (I have this app because I worked there last summer and like to keep it in my prayers and such); Dreamdays is a countdown app; Google Drive; ESPN; Meme Generator; Apple iBooks; iDream, which is a dream interpreting app; Influenster, which is a great app where they send you free stuff for you to review; KKCO 11 News, which is a news app for the town in Colorado I used to live in; Medium, which is another blog site; My Subscription Addiction, which is an app I downloaded because it has a list of a ton of subscription boxes; Apple News; Apple Notes; Penzu, which is a journal app; QR Reader; Detroit Red Wings; Google Sheets; Suburban Bug Identifyer, which I downloaded because in my old residence I would find all these little bugs that would fly into my room (I never figured out what the bugs were, but oh well); This AM, which is another news app; Toluna, which has surveys, and UrbanDictionary.

Below is the app, DreamDays. As you can see, my soonest event that I'm counting down to is a visit to Mount Shasta. Then, I have a countdown to Rehearsal Camp for the music department at Jessup, and finally the first day of school.

Finally, This AM has 8 different news stories that you can swipe up to go through, and click on to read more. I love this app because especially when school starts, I like to sit and read the news stories while I eat breakfast. There are 8 stories picked by Refinery29 for you to read that range from political, science, and entertainment news.

I hope you enjoyed this installment of What's on My iPhone 6s. Tune in next week for my Movies, Music, Photography, and School folders!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
