My makeup collection is vast and constantly growing, but there is no way I can use all of it every day. On a day-to-day basis, the average person doesn't do full glam every day, let alone the time for it. Everyday makeup looks vary from person to person and require different products. Below, you will see the products I cannot live without and use every single day.

1. benefit POREfessional ($31)

This primer hides any pore and gives your faces a flawless, smooth, matte finish. It helps with my oils and helps my makeup last longer. This primer will never fail me.

2. tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour foundation ($39)

Yes, it is on the pricier side however, a little but goes a long way and it lasts a long time. Tarte's Amazonian clay line is phenomenal and all the products are very long lasting. In the shade fair beige, it is like my skin, but better. It can be applied to have a full coverage finish are sheered down for a light coverage; either way, it was have a skin-like matte finish.

3. tarte Shape Tape ($25)

This concealer broke the internet. When it was released, people were blown away with how full coverage it was but looked like skin, didn't get cakey or settle into fine lines, lasted all day and was matte. Again, a little bit goes a long way and it will last you a long time.

4. theBalm Bahama Mama ($20)

This bronzer is the perfect natural shade without looking orange or grey and muddy. It has an olive undertone so it matches perfectly to my weird, very fair, olive skin tone. It can be applied to the perimeters of your face to bronze, to contour or as an eye shadow as a crease color. I love throwing this in my crease to give a soft dimension to my eye with out putting in too much effort.

5. Smashbox Spotlight Palette in Pearl ($35)

With three different shades, there is always one to match your needs from subtle, to blinding to glittery. Unlike many highlights, this one doesn't extenuate it; it actually hides and smooths it.

6. NYX Micro Brow Pencil ($10)

This pencil is a good dupe for the benefit ones or the Anastasia ones. I feel they work just as well and the color matches me better, and it is half the price!

7. tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes ($23)

This cult classic and allure winner is my absolute favorite mascara for my straight, short lashes. It gives them length and volume without clumping. It hold my lashes' curl all day and never flakes. For me, it is a dream come true.

These items are my holy grails; I had a lot of disastrous fails before I found the perfect products for me. Now I don't even want to imagine doing my makeup without them.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
