What's Harder, Catching Pokemon Or A Man?

Gotta catch at least one.

What's Harder, Catching Pokemon Or A Man?

With the recent release of 'Pokemon GO' I, like most other people, have been constantly on the lookout for pokemon. In my hunt for pokemon, I have noticed a lot of similarities between catching pokemon and finding a man. I'm not saying I'm trying to catch all the men (but you shouldn't slut shame me even if I was), but what I am saying is that men and pokemon share a lot of qualities when it comes to being in a relationship or staying in that pokeball; here is what I noticed.

1. They're hard to track down.

Now, there are men everywhere and a lot of pokemon everywhere too, but when you are specifically tracking a single pokemon or maybe a man of your type, it can get a little tough out there. First of all, that footstep tracking feature has been broken for days, so we've been wandering around searching far and wide trying to find pikachu, and 'Tinder' has yet to introduce that feature, so we might as well be on our own.

2. It's hard to find one with good qualities/characteristics.

Once you finally track that pokemon down or meet that guy you've been chatting with online, nothing is more annoying than realizing they aren't what you hoped they'd be. The pokemon may have a low CP, or weak moves, and the man may not look like his profile picture and he might not be as sweet and gentlemanly as he led you to believe. Also, if a pokemon, or man, tries to take a shot at you when you first meet, you don't need them in your life. Move on girl.

3. They're difficult to charm.

Nevermind the man or the pokemon living up to your standards, we have to live up to theirs. Pokemon will jump and dodge those pokeballs to no end no matter how many berries you feed them, and a man will eat all your food and still won't love you. He just loves food. You have to make sure you are what you say you are online just like the guy does, nobody likes a liar or a catfish, but never go and change for no man or pokemon, just be the very best you.

4. Gotta lock em' down.

So you've got the pokemon in the pokeball and you've got a man in a relationship. Everything is good, right? Wrong. That pokemon is going to wiggle as hard as it can to get free and that man might say he loves you, but they're sly AF and some (and some women) hate to be tied down. So, do your best to catch a worthwhile pokemon and to stay in a healthy relationship, but never stay in something toxic or go for a pokemon that you don't need.

5. When you do catch a pokemon or a man, it's a great feeling.

When you finally do catch the pokemon you've been searching for, or you end up with someone you really care about, it feels amazing. In Pokemon, your collection has grown and you are a stronger trainer. If it's a man you've caught, then you have someone who loves you and someone to spend time with (and to catch pokemon with), and for both, you now have a new, hopefully lifelong partner to bring you happiness in life.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
